All one has to do to realize that Adam can "dummy down" his voice is to listen to Take One. >:( Interesting convo about Sauli and Adam and I realize it is just speculation. We are just "projecting" our experiences and what we think onto them. However, the one presumption that kind of hits me the wrong way is to assume that the Helsinki fight was Adam's fault and that Sauli had to do damage control with his family! ITA...glad they got over it and they are stronger than ever.

I have felt that Sauli and Adam have reached a new level of commitment to each other. I felt the shift before the incident in Finland. I noticed a change in Sauli. He went from cute to hot in a way that most of us had to acknowledge. I think that was an indication of an internal shift in him, more confidence perhaps. He allowed himself to shine more brightly, in a picture or two he, I think, outshined Adam. I know in my own dating history with my husband, there was the initial 'will this last' worries and then almost unspoken, things shifted. We could depend on each other and knew that we had each other's back. Then decisions and how we 'moved' together became much more intuned and easy. I wonder if they passed that point in the past few months. I wonder if being bi-national made that point take a bit longer to come to, even though they were living together. Going home to Finland and deciding LA was home now, I am sure cemented things further. Whatever the shift is, I am so glad it has happened for them. My biggest wish for Adam was that he would find someone to love and that someone would love him back. The rest is really frosting on the cake. I don't know how to express it, but being loved by and loving your life partner is so gratifying. I am sorry I waited until 39 to have that experience, but at the same time I'm not. ETA: The conflict that I think being Bi-National has little to do with language differences than it does with will they stay together. Would Sauli miss Finland too much or would Adam make the move to live in Finland to continue the relationship. Perhaps they have learned that home is wherever you are and right now it is with each other. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Thank you.

popcrush PopCrush One more win + @adamlambert is in the Sound Off Hall of Fame. The only person who stands in his way is @taylorswift13! bit.ly/wxtsq629 minutes ago ADAM LAMBERT VS. TAYLOR SWIFT – SOUND OFFby: Cristin Maher 10 minutes ago Congrats again to Adam Lambert and his loyal Glamberts! The ‘American Idol‘ alum has wo n our Sound Off yet again with his song ‘Better Than I Know Myself,’ with his most recent victory over newcomer Lana Del Rey giving him four consecutive wins. If Lambert wins again this weekend, he will be inducted into the Sound Off Hall of Fame! However, he will have to beat Taylor Swift and her new single ‘Safe & Sound,’ which she recorded with folk duo the Civil Wars for ‘The Hunger Games’ soundtrack. Lambert’s ‘Better Than I Know Myself’ is a midtempo love ballad that boasts romantic reflective lyrics, dreamy keys, sharp and heavy drums, and whirring synth that pulls the entire tune together. Lambert’s high-pitched voice is full of emotion on the track, as well. more.... Who is this chick... she's got some good buzz going. I've tripped over her name 3+ times now.

Thank you for saying exactly what I thought all along. That's what I don't understand too why most people think this way. Is it because Adam is wilder and more visible to us and he has to take all the blame? I always believe he was not the one who is totally drunk and then collapsed.

It seems so wrong to me when fans project the blame onto Adam and make him the heavy in the altercation. Truth is, we don't know what happened. It could easily have been Sauli's fault or both equally. Perhaps Sauli had to do damage control with his family because it was his fault. We just don't know. ???

Taylor Swift is a multi-platinum selling country songstress. She won four Grammys for her second album, including Album of the Year, in 2008. According to Wikipedia she has now sold over 20 million albums, and she was Billboard's 2011 Woman of the Year. ETA: Sorry! Kathleen answered your bolded question below! I run into people all the time who don't know pop culture matters (including myself most of the time) so I figured wrong. D'oh!

I could have sworn that they said that Adam would be in the Hall of Fame if he won yesterday's Sound Off. Guess I was wrong. The Swifties will be all over this as soon as they discover it, I suppose.

Everyone seems to have felt the change between Adam and Sauli and everyone has great ideas of why and signs of it showing. Today had some new points for me to think about.
1) that Adam had to rely on Sauli --or at least they had to rely on each other working together. I was majorly impressed with Sauli's blog immediately after the incident. Not only was it beautifully and honestly said, but it was Sauli taking the action and standing up for the two of them. How one responds in crisis says a lot--to us and to Adam. I am sure they were both lying in their separate jails worried about what the other was thinking. Turns out they were both thinking about how to fight to keep things together. That had to be profound.
2) Sauli may have shown signs of changing even earlier than this, now that you mention it. He definitely has been getting hotter the past few months! Maybe this is confidence, maturity, happiness? And he seems to have been working on his own identity/life here --he is writing multiple blogs, multiple times a week, filming and recording Tutkas. And now a modelling gig too. He's pretty busy these days. Busy=settled in? or Happily productive?
I don't buy the story that it is the diet that's making him feel good. They both are glowing. It's love! Not "falling" in love. Even better-- "landing on your feet" in love.
