Yeah.. I don't generally care for come back artists in POP.. only because there is so much change that happens on a constant basis. Hard Candy was 4 years ago & wasn't that good despite sales... She had 2 songs that charted in the US (according to Wiki) . One peaked at 3 (which featured J. Timberlake) and the other at 57. Also the gal is in her 50's. Age alone is a zero issue.. if you are living and breathing the pop environment and have connection to the sounds that are coming out right now. I doubt I am explaining myself correctly. Madonna invented the idea of changing and reinventing herself within the genre of pop music and we can only hope that Adam has a career as long and as successful. The bolded part is interesting given the median age of the posters on this board is 35+. It's funny you'd say this because most of Adam's detractors claim his target audience is 35+ and claim that's what makes him insignificant in pop music. Madonna might block Adam from getting #1 or she might not....Sometimes people get a surprise.... I want Adam competing with the mainstream Pop artists....not with Idols. If he goes up against Madonna and comes in #2 that's okay. Totes agree. While I think her new single is crap if she opens with Adam it will be a miracle if he gets #1. SHE IS FRIGGIN MADONNA. She is a legend with an enormous fanbase who hasn't put out an album in yrs. It would take a miracle for Adam to best her opening week if that happened. But there is nothing wrong with that. IT'S MADONNA. Better to come up second to Madonna then some random. I bet he would be like ZOMG MADGE!! to even care if he got beat by her or not. He'd actually prolly be thrilled lol

I heard that too. Soooo good to hear! I'm glad they are playing but must admit that I cringe a little whenever I hear the term "guilty pleasure" in reference to Adam....and I've heard it several times from people in the media. Why is he a "guilty pleasure"? That term insinuates there is something wrong with enjoying his music and/or being a fan.... I've seen it on twitter too...."I love Adam Lambert's new song, don't judge me" etc..etc.... Okay, semi-rant over. (but yay! They played the song!)

rihannsupf My thoughts exactly. Yup I laughed at this one too. However, whatever...glad the two of them are happy. Interesting that Adam has said that in LA he likes regular bars for socializing often more than gay bars... as everyone has done everyone, knows everyone, are jaded etc. etc etc. Yikes... maybe more to that than I imagined ( as per the comment above...no have not had the opportunity to be in a gay bar. Unless going to a drag performance club with convention colleagues in the 70's in San Francisco counts.) Anyway he certainly seemed to gravitate to gay bars when he travelled...for promo or GNT. Must be some level of comfort in that, and he was going about this in his usual way not hiding from anything (twitter pictures abound.) Something goofy ...my refresh is not working on the site and I tried quoting this 3x and it only picks up the last quote..any idea what is wrong..it is my computer or the site?

I totally hear you, and actually what irks me most is when Adam fans describe him as a guilty pleasure. If fans can't be out and proud about being his fans, why would we expect the general public to be? IDGI. Re this DJ though, the tone of his voice was very positive and not even a little bit snarky. So I was really happy to hear it. I think sometimes male DJs feel weird admitting they like any guy singers unless they are rockers or rappers.

Any chance that Adam will be at the Golden Globes? Just saw Adam Levine on the red carpet and wonder why is he there. Would be nice surprise if Adam shows up. Adam Levine is there because it is NBC and they are promoting the heck out of The Voice. They think they can knock off Idol.

I didn't even know all those Sauli interviews were out there. Thanks! I've never thought for a moment that he was free-loading or anything like that. It just seemed funny to me that that was a concern of his. They do seem very much alike. Someone would have had to point that out to Adam before he went up and tapped him on the shoulder. Don't you think? Maybe I've watched too many Criminal Minds episodes to think that one just walks up to an unknown and taps him on the shoulder and takes him home. They must have at least been making eye contact throughout the evening. The other interesting comment was about the jet lag and hard it is going from west to east and the time it takes to adjust. Sounds familiar. I've always liked the guy and now I like him more. I didn't realize that he went home for a month to work for his dad. That had to have been at the very beginning. In any case, thanks for all the links to the information on Sauli! LOL, I guess you've never hung out in gay bars. Pretty sure what we had here was a one night stand that was so awesome they decided to keep in touch. Adam and Sauli have danced around the "what did you do question" with just enough cheeky grins and enigmatic smiles to really make you wonder. I seriously doubt that Adam went that whole tour without some hook ups along the way. In my own head I think the connection was just so strong they decided to see where it might go. The week in Paris would have been the next step of testing the waters to see if it was as good as they remembered. NO, NO, NO ! That was not a one night stand! Absolutely not! They didn't do anything more than talked and kissed. : They both believe in love at first sight and that's what happened. Remember what Adam told himself: "I approached him. There was physical attraction but also a great energy, like a glow. There was something very connected about the eye contact, the communication just flowed very easily." That's anyway my dream and don't ruin it.

This is Adam's 5th single, 4th with any radio promo -- and I do not remember hearing so many male DJs sounding so positive.
