LOL, I guess you've never hung out in gay bars. Pretty sure what we had here was a one night stand that was so awesome they decided to keep in touch. Adam and Sauli have danced around the "what did you do question" with just enough cheeky grins and enigmatic smiles to really make you wonder. I seriously doubt that Adam went that whole tour without some hook ups along the way. In my own head I think the connection was just so strong they decided to see where it might go. The week in Paris would have been the next step of testing the waters to see if it was as good as they remembered. NO, NO, NO ! That was not a one night stand! Absolutely not! They didn't do anything more than talked and kissed. : They both believe in love at first sight and that's what happened. Remember what Adam told himself: "I approached him. There was physical attraction but also a great energy, like a glow. There was something very connected about the eye contact, the communication just flowed very easily." That's anyway my dream and don't ruin it. HA HA, far be it from me to interfere with your dream. But I'll keep my hot sex all night fantasy if you don't mind. LOL

I heard that too. Soooo good to hear! I'm glad they are playing but must admit that I cringe a little whenever I hear the term "guilty pleasure" in reference to Adam....and I've heard it several times from people in the media. Why is he a "guilty pleasure"? That term insinuates there is something wrong with enjoying his music and/or being a fan.... I've seen it on twitter too...."I love Adam Lambert's new song, don't judge me" etc..etc.... Okay, semi-rant over. (but yay! They played the song!)
I don't understand why people has to ad the above bolded part when they like Adam's song :-/ :-/ :-/

I have a question that I haven't seen anyone address. We vote in all the polls and call them stupid, not important. Does anyone think they are being used to monitor how popular Adam is and if they are a sales indicator for Adam? Seems to me that they could be used in that way?

I do think even though some of the polls seem silly they do show how interested people are in him. That means alot to these stations and much more to Adam. I vote all the time, whenever I can.

IMO, just like the AI votes, I think it's not going to reflect and don't think it can be used as a sales indicator for him. Because I only vote for this kind of thing once or twice a day and some people maybe votes for him 50times a day. We can used NAL votes, he got all the votes but his sales' 1/3rd of Adam's.

Haaa I'd like to say that, and maybe some are, but the more skeptical part of me says it's for hits. I mean all these Idol vs Idol polls? Ya really think the stations care if Adam, Cook or Durbin is more popular? Pfft. They want the clicky click clicks.

When morning rolls around and you don't want that person to disappear then you have to follow your instincts and make a move to stay in touch.

The bolded part is interesting given the median age of the posters on this board is 35+. It's funny you'd say this because most of Adam's detractors claim his target audience is 35+ and claim that's what makes him insignificant in pop music. Madonna might block Adam from getting #1 or she might not....Sometimes people get a surprise.... I want Adam competing with the mainstream Pop artists....not with Idols. If he goes up against Madonna and comes in #2 that's okay. Right. Which is also why Adam sold a buttload of albums. People over 30-ish tend to buy albums not singles (don't know the exact demo breakdown). His huge sale out of the gate due to AI and the 829,000 fans who bought his album is somewhat reflective of AI's demo. This is one (of many) reason I think RCA opted BTIKM to start out this era, to appeal to the album buyers. To be clear his 'target' audience isn't over 35, I think you mean his actual audience. Personally, I'm just talking the US, not all over the world. I'd guess that he has a really good mix of audience, but that audience skews younger overseas. Just a guess. Lets be clear though, I don't think Adam has made it just yet, so perhaps I share a tiny bit of that opinion with detractors. I would never say he was insignificant though. He is still working to get the 20's crowd in his pocket and Adam's album #2 will make or break him in pop. I think he can and will always have a place on HAC, CHR is another story. A tough one to crack, not to mention that pop stars have a shelf life. I do think that Madge's audience probably skews older than Adam's in the US. Her hay day was over a decade ago, even if she is an icon. How many kids haven't really heard more than a handful of Queen songs? Same difference. There is an entire pop generation that know a handful of her old stuff, but her recent album? not so much. Madge's last album was 4 years ago and prior to that 3. Four to 7 years is a long ass time for an 18 year old. LOL Unless this album is a game changer, I don't think she is going to be significant in pop this era. She sell the crap out of her album and she'll have some #1's possibly (say possibly since her last album wasn't great) but it takes more than selling a lot to be a game changer. She hasn't been an innovator in pop in a LONG time. Sure she could still do it. I'm won't put my money on it. Will she pretty much decimate the sales charts for a few months... probably. As far as I'm concerned with relation to Adam, it doesn't much matter. It is what it is. It would be nice if they debut on different weeks. *shrug* they'll sell what they'll sell regardless.
