Also, Lana Del Ray sang on SNL tonight and is getting roundly dissed on twitter. Her recordings are much better--I thought it was okay--but what I REALLY thought was why the hell hasn't Adam performed on SNL yet? He's got to be as well-known as she is. (@devenlane says it's because her daddy's in the biz.) I don't know about Lana Del Ray, is she very famous? I heard about her name from my radio DJ. They are very excited about her and said she is better than Adele. Go and check now. Yeah, Adam should be on SNL  I purposely stayed up to watch this performance and I could not believe how awful it was. Even my husband who is very music savvy, said WTF???? I also wonder why Adam has not been a musical guest on SNL. He is far better than most, if not all, of the guests on the show. I just don't get it. |

Madonna is a legend, Adam is a newbie. I'm hoping that all her publicity will get Adam some extra looks.My wish is for people buying Madonna will also buy Trespassing. Is that too much to ask???? What has Madonna to do with anything? Aside from Monte and albums releasing the same month? |

I was wondering what all the fuss was about a few days ago when I saw her name in a bunch of places. Checked out some of her YT... and, yeah not so good. She sounds more Florence + the Machine than anyone else... but the key difference is that although I find Florence shouty in live performances, she puts out a damn fine recording. If the video I saw of Lana was truly "official" then I'm completely unimpressed in her ability to bring it. |

I'm kind of getting irritated with all these come back artists. If they were interested in music, why have they not stayed active putting music out. Are they interested in a music career or do they just want to pad their retirement and have gotten tired of being forgotten? This applies to quite a few returning artists. |

Gotta hit the hay, but I'm reposting something I posted in the dead thread after someone asked who might open for Adam on his next tour. Not that I think Allison will (or should) but her latest performance was tweeted and just thought I'd share it. I reallly like this song--if only I could understand the words! She sounds good and looks GREAT, though! Also, Lana Del Ray sang on SNL tonight and is getting roundly dissed on twitter. Well...I think Eber should write a barstool manifesto to get Adam on SNL!  ;D On Allison, I usually understand some of the lyrics Allison is singing, but this time, mostly nothing. She sounds great, but on Planet Earth, she should probalby remember to sing in English and not Fiercian. On Lana Del Ray, She has potential if she can get over the apparent stage fright. I will just add her to the list of "not Adam Lambert". |

To the Lana del Rey performance: For some reason she looked so uncomfortable on stage and she wanted it to end. She also did another song "blue jeans" and at one point she placed here free arm around her self. Her body language couldn't be clearer. I don't know if sounded like that, because she felt uncomfortable or if she felt uncomfortable because she sounded not good. At least I don't think it was her best.
I'm so happy that Adam had so much stage experience before he got famous. I've never seen, that he felt uncomfortable up there or at least he does not show it. Even after he fell at the AMAs or forgot the lyrics during SFW (I don't know which city), he gave his best at least in terms of performance (AMA vocals were not his best, especially after he fell).
