I wish madonna's new album would come out in April rather than March.The part of Madonna getting out there that makes me very happy is that she will show Gaga how it's really done. I am really over LG' borrowing' from the iconic.

Sometime ago someone me asked how I found Adam. Did not answer yet, but since it is so slow today, maybe I can do it now: How I got into the rabbithole. Growing in the small town in Finland and being a teen in 70s it was quite a miracle that I heard of Michael Jackson, or rather Jacson 5, so early. It hooked me with first hearing. Cute child lead singer did help. The C-cassets did not arrive so fast, so probably Michael was like 11 in those recordings. It became a life long love. How I got hooked to Freddie Mecury, I don't quite remeber, it happened later. I think Music TV in 80s brought Queen really in my horizon. However, I was already living my busy years, graduating and having my first job, so I grew into him and Queen slower. But fell as deeply in love as with Michael. I also was Glam, Glitter and Black before Adam was even born, loving also performers like David Bowie and Boy George. So I made a career, had my kids, and listened to Michael and Freddie. In diffucult times they always helped me over. Now they are both gone, and I have been thinking that "that's it" I need to live on with what they created, since cannot, during my lifetime, find anything like them, and even if I could, I could not find that connection, since I am not young anymore. And then.. I saw Adam in Idols, loved the voice and performances (and looks  ) but RL issues took my focus. Howeve,for some random reason I bought FYE in the beginning of last year, and started to really listen to it in the spring time. WOW! FTF! So I started to seach more music from him, and DAMM, no more albums made? WUT, WUT, WUT? OK, Youtube it was. I found his performaces, but also the interviews. His live-performaces took my breath away. The way he had "re-created" himself was amazing. His style was exactly what I loved. He turned out to be obviously intelligent. His life philosofy was unik and resonated strongly in me. And his capability to free and empower his fans is something, that I am still trying to figure out. How does he do that? Why does he make us feel so much better and happier? But more than anything he became the VOICE to me. Lifting me on the air, freeing me from physical form while listening him, and then after that, gently putting me back but somehow with less load of life on my shoulders. CLICK! Soon after that I found all you! And so I was lost, deep, deep in the rabbithole, and if I am lucky, I will never see the daylight again. |

What has Madonna to do with anything? Aside from Monte and albums releasing the same month? Are you being sarcastic, or are you honestly questioning this? On another note... I'm kind of getting irritated with all these come back artists. If they were interested in music, why have they not stayed active putting music out. Are they interested in a music career or do they just want to pad their retirement and have gotten tired of being forgotten? This applies to quite a few returning artists. According to Rolling Stone Mag, Bruce Springsteen, Van Halen, Madonna, Beach Boys and possibly the Rollings Stones are going to tour. I do believe they have become tired not doing much and want to do the music, but also pad their pockets because they realize the money is in touring. |

Just speaking for myself...maybe I'm a bit slow on the uptake, but I'm not seeing the connection. What does Madonna, or Madonna's promo, have to do with Adam? What would people purchasing Madonna's album have to do with people purchasing Adam's, or vice versa? Unless they're next to each other in the New Releases section or something. Is there some reason the Madonna release is more relevant to Adam's situation than a release from any other pop artist? No sarcasm intended; I just don't get it. |

Also, Lana Del Ray sang on SNL tonight and is getting roundly dissed on twitter. Her recordings are much better--I thought it was okay--but what I REALLY thought was why the hell hasn't Adam performed on SNL yet? He's got to be as well-known as she is. (@devenlane says it's because her daddy's in the biz.) I watched SNL and was thinking the same thing. The timbre of her voice is appealing to me, but not much else. She looked physically awkward and sounded dull. ADAM!! |

It is interesting how I can hear Adam in my grocery store singing WWFM but he cannot get any airplay on the radio stations around here. Yes, I know adds are next week and he will be on Ryan Seacrest (Leno and Ellen, too) which means he will at least be on our KissFM 106.1 station at least once.
Birthday wishes to those celebrating. I want to find out what the recipes are for some of the cakes that reihmer tempts us with each day. Juniemoon– great part two. Have saved both. NoAngel, another great Sunday read and saved to my archives. Although an imaginary event, I think you captured the “heart” of how each would respond. It is so true that “ Berts are gonna bert, bashers are gonna bash.”

We have been talking a bit about Wanting Adam's new album to go to #1 on I Tunes/Billboard,etc.If Madonna 's album is released at the same time in March,chances are that her cd will hit that number one spot and Adam's Trespassing might not get the attention,IMHO, it so deserves. |

I don't know about Lana Del Ray, is she very famous? I heard about her name from my radio DJ. They are very excited about her and said she is better than Adele. Go and check now. Yeah, Adam should be on SNL I purposely stayed up to watch this performance and I could not believe how awful it was. Even my husband who is very music savvy, said WTF???? I also wonder why Adam has not been a musical guest on SNL. He is far better than most, if not all, of the guests on the show. I just don't get it. I think he will be on SNL this year...let him wait till he has 2 new songs from Trespassing to perform.... |

I purposely stayed up to watch this performance and I could not believe how awful it was. Even my husband who is very music savvy, said WTF???? I also wonder why Adam has not been a musical guest on SNL. He is far better than most, if not all, of the guests on the show. I just don't get it. I think he will be on SNL this year...let him wait till he has 2 new songs from Trespassing to perform.... Yup, yup. ITA! |
