Lots of discussion last night about hoping Adam's album does not have the same release date as Madonna. I mentioned an article that said Madonna will be March 12th but could not find the link. I FOUND IT!!! Unfortunately I am using a new IPad and haven't figured out how to copy links yet :( But it is on page 4 of Friday's thread and is a link to THR  |

But more than anything he became the VOICE to me. Lifting me on the air, freeing me from physical form while listening him, and then after that, gently putting me back but somehow with less load of life on my shoulders. CLICK! . This is exactly what happens to me when I listen to Adam. ETA: Unless, of course, I have spent so much time listening to him that I haven't graded any of the essays that always make up my "to do" list- and then have too little time to do all I need to do. That has happened ~once or twice before, lol. |

Hi all! Just wanted to jump in to say that my local HAC station Q102 Cincinnati (WKRQ) just played BTIKM this morning as the lead song on the "Next Big Thing" show. I was waiting to see if they would play it because it is close to add time, and there it was! YAY!
Missed the DJ lead-in, but the show is done by Brian Douglas, who played BTIKM when it first was released before Christmas. They have not played it since, as far as I know. But Brian is a supporter and always says nice things about Adam, so I am hoping they will start spinning it regularly too! So exciting to hear him on the radio again!
Can't wait for this exciting week! Thanks to all of you for making this place so amazing!

KITTYKAY, we don't know. He just happened to be driving it that one night.
Conjecture: he was renting it or it was given to him to drive while his car was in the shop
He was test-driving
He was trying to go out in an incognito car (fail)

To the Lana del Rey performance: For some reason she looked so uncomfortable on stage and she wanted it to end. She also did another song "blue jeans" and at one point she placed here free arm around her self. Her body language couldn't be clearer. I don't know if sounded like that, because she felt uncomfortable or if she felt uncomfortable because she sounded not good. At least I don't think it was her best. I'm so happy that Adam had so much stage experience before he got famous. I've never seen, that he felt uncomfortable up there or at least he does not show it. Even after he fell at the AMAs or forgot the lyrics during SFW (I don't know which city), he gave his best at least in terms of performance (AMA vocals were not his best, especially after he fell). I thought it was funny when he forgot the words to SFW because he seemed so embarrassed by it. |

Listening to members talk about their discovery of Adam I had to relay a story. I was watching Idol and there he was. I was hooked! During that time I took my mom on a road trip across the US. She's from Canada as I am originally. We went from Wisconsin to Colorado, to Utah, to Las Vegas and then to the Grand Canyon. Funny thing is that during the trip we had to make sure we were checked in to our hotel by show time on performance night and results night. We cut those days short so we wouldn't miss a thing. It became just as important as our vacation. This trip was a once in a life time for my mom and so was seeing Adam. Nothing has changed!  |
