12.4.22 Adam News and Info

The release of High Drama will be particularly interesting in the UK.  For the first time, Adam will have regular, weekly television exposure during an album release period (after some nice opportunities to be seen and heard during December).  I'm so glad to see his team is taking advantage of Starstruck.  I don't know what his US promo will look like, other than the apparent performance on The Voice, but I don't think he could ask for a much better situation than he'll have in the UK.  I hope with every fiber of my being that it pays off for him.  After what happened with Velvet, he certainly deserves a break.

ETA:  Obviously I'm assuming the "early next year" for the album release will coincide with the "early next year" for Starstruck.  Hopefully the show will be airing at the time of the album release, as opposed to the album being released first - it's hard to imagine his team not coordinating the two - but assuming Come Undone is on the album (which it has to be, under the circumstances), we know he performed it on Starstruck so there's definitely some overlap.  

ETA 2:  This is a long shot and quite possibly apropos of nothing, but...I remember when we were discussing the possibility of Adam performing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, I said something about performers chosen for that opportunity usually having something to promote, and at that point it didn't look like that would apply to Adam.  Now it would.

Adam has spoken out about times he would like to have sung or had things happen….and no such luck. ( like a movie role etc) 

HOWEVER, recently he said he would love to sing the National Anthem at the Superbowl.
