Cassie, good on you for planning to watch Idol with your parents. My parents are in their 70's and are all too aware of my obsession. (I even showed my mom the Crawl Thru Fire vid.) They would fully expect me to be glued to the TV if Adam was on it and to be hushed up to boot!

Adam seems to be getting oodles of PR and media attention with his announcement that he is appearing on Idol next week. My google alerts has been going crazy. Since I don't follow other artists, I am curious. Is this normal media response when someone is announced to appear? Is the other performer that night, Dippity Do, or whatever his name is, getting the same type of coverage? Just curious. Dippity Do - LOL I think I used that on my hair back in the 50's/60's. hehe I used to get Adam Google alerts but my Inbox was always FLOODED with them. I finally realized that other fans were wading through them and posting the important ones on Twitter. win/win  I'm gotten some ads this morning too. I think we are all seeing ads today. If I recall, Q3 said that there was an initial timeframe that they gave her ad free. Perhaps it's run out and there's been a glitch with her payment to keep it ad free. I'm sure she will take care of it when she can. |

Apologize in advance for spamming the thread, but I'm so excited! I was in my physical therapy session this morning and some of the therapists were talking about Idol last night and asked me if I watched it. I told them I had not; that I had stopped watching after S8 but that I WOULD be tuning in next Thursday b/c Adam Lambert was going to perform and that I was a huge fan of his! Well, that led to not only a discussion about the new format for Idol but also an even longer discussion about Adam! They were sort of surprised at how much I could tell them about the new format AND Adam (if they only knew!). Just made my day!!

Hahahaha!!!This reminded me of " Is this a gun on your pocket or you're just happy to see me?"  Ha Ha Gelly, that's a classic one. To be honest, I thought something had happened and that's why I asked... you know, people have sometimes special things happening to them besides Adam stanning .... like people have lives or something ..... Really? Hmmm, interesting. |
