I see a lot of talk about him having to release Trespassing the single next for album name recognition. But is this always how it's done? I mean I can't think of more than one example right now but with Rihanna's new album she isn't releasing the title track--Talk that Talk--yet and she is on her third single already I believe. I don't think he HAS to release the title track as second but your plan makes sense. Build up. yeah, I totes agree. Doesn't have to be. Name recognition is not that important when your single is not that strong. I was just sayin', it would be nice, if the single is strong enough AND it would build up the era AND it would give name recognition. But the name recognition should not be the driving factor. |

In what songs has Adam used his falsetto? Are their any that is on YT? Was JUST talking about that with Angelina a few days ago. Our opinions? We noted that, to our ears, Adam hardly ever uses falsetto. He uses chest voice, blended chest/head, and head voice, all very well blended and chosen to fit the song. So wonderful to have Adam agree with us.  |

I'm so far behind and I'll never catch up because my life is a little crazy right now. Haven't had a chance to listen to any of the interviews except for Ellen. From what I've read here, it seems that the Maxwell interview was one of the best this week. Does anyone have a link to an audio that doesn't need to be downloaded? Or, if no, any link? I've looked around a little and can't find it in the threads. Also, any other interviews from this week worth seeking out?

I am wondering more and more if they led with BTIKM so that it would be an inoffensive, US radio friendly, easily performable re-introduction to Adam and that they are really gonna start to push hard when they drop the supposedly massive Cuckoo right before album drop and then blitz the shit out of it??? I mean I am sure they would want BTIKM to be a hit, but maybe that's not super important to them because they know they have an arsenal of AMAZING songs waiting to go and that's what the reviewers who mentioned *soft opening* and *RCA must be really confident in the material to lead with this song* are going on about? Just thinking.... I really think you may be right, and maybe that was why they didn't care if it was a December release. ETA: And maybe to put out a release that would get more tradional fans on board before putting out new songs they dont even know they want to hear yet? What do I know... just speculating. |
