Just wanted to take a moment to thank the mods and members who post regularly on Atop for our enjoyment. Also, a special mention for pi who has filled up the thread as much as can be for quite a while now (to the tune of nearly 52,000 total entries). Much appreciated!  |

YES, YES, YES, KUDOS TO PI AND OTHERS WHO BRING NEWS TO THE Daily THREAD. That is what keeps Adamtopia ALIVE. I participate daily. Years ago I remember someone saying if everyone just comes to look but does not post, or comment…Adamtopia will die. In the early days foreveradam and I would bring over news regularly, along with others. There was a lack of recognition, and a very diff culture that developed on the thread, so I for one quit posting, as did a few others. Ie. I pouted and then realized I still was viewing so why not be somewhat active. Life or tech issues come up for people and others step up to the plate. Like waves, others posted for a year(s) or so, then left, does seem fewer are active so I truly appreciate ALL THE RESEARCHING AND CHECKING THE NEWS FOR ADAM NEWS, that is done by our wonderful regulars. Times did change perspectives and there was a move to twitter when it developed …for Gelly and many others. That aligned more with their interests. So…. Very happy that we have members who have the tech skills to bring over pictures, news and reports from all sources. Gelly’s amazing resourcefulness gifts us a lot of news. Glad to have had the chance to meet her in London. |

Yup. Thanks to pi for keeping the site updated with all the news!
and yes, too bad most are just reading and not posting, even the registered peeps . Looks like the site attracts well over a thousand visitors per 24 hour period but very few are active.
one of the reasons for my own “decrease” in posting is the “culture” of being endlessly positive. Imo this greatly stifles any kind of discussion and leaves only two kinds of posts - info (and pi does this tirelessly and amazingly well) or flailing.
C’est la vie…

I love that the press always gives Adam credit for his rock flair, glam rock and classic rock and rock influences. So fingers crossed that one day he will get on some of those charts that are not as youth oriented and competitive as top 40. And it is not as if the Queen frontman and glam rocker is not good or believable cause they refer to him that way all the time and seem to love that version of him more. And he often rocks out in performances (and delivers on some emotional ballads) with or without Queen. Love his version of "Getting Over."

I find myself unable to respond to posts about Adam on Twitter. A message to verify my account appears and when I try to enter my password, it does not accept it. Has anyone here encountered this?
