Just wanted to take a moment to thank the mods and members who post regularly on Atop for our enjoyment. Also, a special mention for pi who has filled up the thread as much as can be for quite a while now (to the tune of nearly 52,000 total entries). Much appreciated!  THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!   I check the site daily, but have not been a dependable poster!!! My BAD!  Guess I will try to do better! |

Yup. Thanks to pi for keeping the site updated with all the news! and yes, too bad most are just reading and not posting, even the registered peeps . Looks like the site attracts well over a thousand visitors per 24 hour period but very few are active. one of the reasons for my own “decrease” in posting is the “culture” of being endlessly positive. Imo this greatly stifles any kind of discussion and leaves only two kinds of posts - info (and pi does this tirelessly and amazingly well) or flailing. C’est la vie… Yes...I miss that too! |

I just made my annual birthday donation to feel something...and the good thing about this process now is that even though we cannot 'say' Happy Birthday" to Adam...it is abundantly clear that a $41 donation IS, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!  |

Yes, thank you pi and others who bring information here. As I have said before I am techie challenged so I really appreciate having the news on one site. Thank you Q3!! I really enjoyed the January 26 TalkShop interview. I tried to buy a signed CD to support the site, but found it was only sold in the USA. I was planning to ignore the enormous shipping fees that are always a feature when buying from Canada, so I guess I saved a bunch of money! C'est la vie! One new tidbit about Adam's life that I found interesting during the Fairyland press was the revelation that Adam's Dad made the boys finish all the food on their plates. That is very old school and, of course, is about not wasting food, but it is not good to teach kids to ignore their off switch. Adam said something like it gave his eating habits "bad juju." We know that Adam has struggled with weight issues and this was just one more insight. |
