another fantastic day on the threads. I related to the conversation and analysis on older fans. I love the insight from younger and international members, too. Welcome to you!
At a family gathering last summer, a young man approached my table and said, "So who is it here that loves Adam Lambert?" I hesitated briefly but then jumped up and embraced him and said yes it was me! He is a family friend of my sister in law and performed with Adam in his youth theatre days and has kept in loose touch with him over the years. So of course we talked about Adam. And we talked about the older fan thing. His comment to me was, "hey it's not like you are into beiber. Adam is old enough! haha." He thought it was totally cool that I was obsessed with adam and related it to his own passion for the rock bands he likes. He also talked about how adam was being marketed...the plan was for the long haul, longevity. not a flash in the pan, not being crammed down our throats like other pop artists, but kept in the awareness of the public (eg hearing his music in stores and sporting events) We continued our conversation about other music and artists and his own aspirations. (He considered AI but could not handle the committment. ) Needless to say I felt so good and validated after our interaction. And to hug a guy who has shared space with Adam, breathed his air, gah....getting carried away.

BertieI loved your post! Your English is great. We have discovered Sauli here through Adam, like many have discovered Adam through Sauli.

Sooo while driving back from the eye doctor--I have a friggin corneal ulcer and need to wear my glasses and administer drops like every 5 seconds until it clears grrr--I FINALLY heard BTIKM on the radio! Granted I haven;t been actively trying to catch it so IDK if it gets played a lot or not, but it was on a station out of Akron (I am in the Cleveland area). 98.1.
Not sure if it is HAC or top 40. I suspect HAC.
But yay!

I watched the Leno performance once again. Gahhhhh his little moves that he's making with his legs while holding the mic stand are so hot to me, I don't know why!
Same moves he made while wearing a costume again was on SYTYCD in the US back then and I loved them!
BRB gonna watch the Ellen performance now for the.... hmmmm let's not say how many times I've watched it.
