He also talked about how adam was being marketed...the plan was for the long haul, longevity. not a flash in the pan, not being crammed down our throats like other pop artists, but kept in the awareness of the public . That makes perfect sense to me. And longevity is also what Adam is looking for. If you like your job, you want to keep doing it for years, not to get lots of money one year and then dissapear. And come on, we have seen GNT... Adam REALLY likes his job

BertieI loved your post! Your English is great. We have discovered Sauli here through Adam, like many have discovered Adam through Sauli. Yes, I think it's amazing. And I'm just so excited for the new album! Underneath, Shady, Cuckoo, Broken English ( ;D)... I want to hear them already!

OT, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Heidi and Seal are divorcing!! Oh no. That's so sad. Don't they have 4 children together? I think show biz is so tough on relationships. Thinking of Katie and Russell too.

Welcome kamar and bertiebotts About Adam and his fans age - I'm 34 old, my sister 33, my cousin 29, her daughters 11 and 10, my best friends (girls) 20, 27 and 33 (boys) 25, 28 and 30 and my mother 63. As you can see we are diverse group but our age doesn't matter. The only thing that counts is that we are all Adam's fans. He needs every fan he can get, especially now. We are all equally important for him.

Life is a TUNIC -- I hate that tunic -- but I LOVE this expression!!
So even a really ugly assed piece of clothing can bring good to the world.
No is Adam can make something good out of those aqua board shorts, I will declare him the most creative person on the planet in the world.

I DO think this is relevant and scary. What will we do without Adam goodies in near real time. I personally think this helps keep the fans engaged. At least I know it does for me. Imagine what it would or will be like when every time we try to see an Adam performance we get the content taken down like on YouTube happening more and more. Big brother is really starting to infringe on free speech - broader issue so I will stop here since Adam thread. I am all for trying to find a balance in the copyright issue and intellectual property rights, but "balance" is the word. Lot's of questions and will it effect fan vids - for example concert vids and such. Hmm... Oh no! Reduced to snail mailing DVD's, how will we ever cope. The immediate nature of our stanning will surely take a hit as will probably our pocketbooks but I'm sure we will find ways to conquer all even if we are reduced to Stone Age methods like burning DVD's and (gasp) mailing them. Have faith everyone, if we work together there is no obstacle we can't overcome. ;D ;D ;D ;D

And come on, we have seen GNT... Adam REALLY likes his job I loved your story, luzrnaz!! And that's great to hear. I've thought all along that this was how RCA saw him. It was frustrating back in the FYE single days when Ke$ha was getting a new single every five minutes while RCA Ed's rationalizations for why they couldn't release another Adam single seemed on one hand to make sense, but on the other hand, kind of lame as they conflicted with what the label was doing with other artists. The only thing that really made sense to me was that they viewed certain people as hot, fast burners and others as long-term "growers." (And we know Adam is a grower ) So we had to accept that and be patient. I do think it very interesting how much money RCA has put into this album. When angsters start getting panicky about promo and worry that RCA will drop the ball, those talking them off the ledge remind them how much RCA has already invested in him. From where I'm standing, it seems Adam has got everything he's wanted for this album, including A-list collaborators, studio time in the most expensive cities, the executive producer title and now has top-flight video director and DP. When compared to other RCA artists of late – Daughtry, Kelly, Cook – the pedigree on Adam's album seems A+++. To me, that says they have major faith in him. I also think it interesting that he keeps mentioning the fan base and saying that he likely wouldn't get another album if it wasn't for us, but I can't imagine that's entirely true. Maybe he wouldn't have got all the top-tier bells and whistles, but his sales alone should warrant another album. I do really wonder how the industry sees fanbases in light of all the piracy issues, etc. I've read essays and heard people like Trent Reznor discuss the value of fan loyalty here and there, but Adam's comments in interviews lately make me think this is something strategists track very closely now.
