Question I'd really like someone to ask Adam one day: "Why did they release the single when they did? " Not angstng...just curious. Me too!! But I doubt it will be asked and if asked I am pretty sure we will get a vague answer. |

OT but I had to stop by to brag a little to the other Finns on the board. I'm just about to fly to LA to see Nightwish tonight! Nightwish is a great Finnish band that rarely plays here. I'm going to keep my eyes open for a tall dark haired guy and a shorter blond... People have told Sauli about this concert in his blog comments and he reads them. So a girl can hope...  I am in love with the depiction of the fallen angel in the music video for the Nightwish song Amaranth. Touched me deeply the first time I saw it. Also loved that they did Phantom of the Opera. I'm fascinated by the combo of her voice with his Cro-Magnon thing. Don't love the screaming parts. But they are absolutely intriguing and have truly sublime moments! So happy for you!! OT but I'll try to be fast... ;D Not sure if you know already but that angel theme comes from a painting by Finnish painter Hugo Simberg. The painting is called "The Wounded Angel". It's a very beautiful and impressive painting, I've seen it a few times. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wounded_AngelMaria1: My hubby and two daughters are going to see Nightwish in Helsinki in March. The first page today mentioned the Star 101.3 interview and had photos, but no video. Here is the interview --- short, but good. He talks about the piracy issue. And comments that contrary to public opinion, artists don't make all that much money from sales. As we know already, thanks to Q3.

He is cute He's an old friend of Adam. Last time we saw him with Adam was I think during a private party Adam had last year , New Year's eve 2011. I don't remember any recent photos with him and Adam but since this week was so confusing, not enough sleep, my brain doesn't REALLY work well! |

So I "settled" for this one. Hope no one else has it. ETA - Haha Marie - I just saw your avi - and it MOVES!!! Mine is from the same performance of course but sadly not a gif. Congrats! Ok - I changed my avi again. LOL What can I say? Just too many gorgeous pics of him! |

Yeah, I wonder why Adam keeps saying if it wasn't for his fans he may not have been making this 2nd album. That doesn't compute for me. He's said it at least 3 times now... Because we buy everything he puts out and then some.. He did sell over a million CDS of' For your Entertainment' World Wide. Not bad for a first album. We support Adam in all ways,so he is thankful and IMHO he feels that we helped to fuel his new album and the ability for him to do so in his own way. Someone on Adamtopia mentioned that Adam would be her charity this year,I feel the same way.Maybe this birthday could belong to Adam . I know I've bought many copies of both BTIKM and Trespassing ,I have put away a certain amount to buy many more copies of the album to gift.I kind of miss the Alaskan doctor who gifted and gifted.. Is she still around? I see her on twitter often but when Adam gave her a shout out, ages ago, the green eyes came out and she was pretty well drummed out of the fan club and adam fandom. She supports other artists still....I doubt very much that we will see gifting like that from her tho... Doubt also that Adam will do that again :-( |
