How do you make a gif into an avatar? I tried to make my avi a gif & it had no animation. Not sure why. So I "settled" for this one. Hope no one else has it. ETA - Haha Marie - I just saw your avi - and it MOVES!!! Mine is from the same performance of course but sadly not a gif. Congrats! Thanks! I took it from the lists of gifs that Gelly posted earlier. And he is just so gorgeous! Seriously loving his new look. He just looks so young and radiant. He seems to be so happy lately, just glowing. I bet he's just as excited about sharing this new music with us as we are to hear it.

I see her on twitter often but when Adam gave her a shout out, ages ago, the green eyes came out and she was pretty well drummed out of the fan club and adam fandom. She supports other artists still....I doubt very much that we will see gifting like that from her tho... Doubt also that Adam will do that again :-( I HATED it when that happened. What fans did to her was so ugly. She supported Adam and was so generous in her gifting. I hope she is still an Adam fan regardless of all that ugliness. :-/ Pretty sure Sherrie gifted BTIKM when it came out. She still supports Adam. Have no idea if she will still do it on the level she did before after all the ugliness that was thrown at her. It's a shame that fans acted the way they did toward someone that has been such a HUGE supporter of Adam. Sherrie gifted MANY thousands of dollars worth of Adam's music.

First - Welcome Kamar and BertieHappy Birthday - bridgeymah, glambert932, pomOT - Since it is a slow day let me share what I've watched on TV today that I've been comparing to Adam's journey - Steven Tyler with Oprah (OWN channel) 1. Steven said he was then addicted to the dark side/light side - of course his dark side was the drug induced space he was in - he had an affair with Alice and he was in the rabbit hole for a long time - seems like whoever quote this dark/light side in their life will be using Adam's Trespassing music so they can debate whichever space they want to get into before "trespassing" from light to dark. So glad our rabbit hole was Adam. 2. He also said that what he was and became (as Aerosmith's frontman) was a gift. He said if he joins American Idol he won't pass audition (or something like that :D). 3. He was 17 when he wrote Dream On (Danny Gokey, remember? ;D). He was into LSD because at that time it was what Rock Stars do. So glad Adam was not born at that time. 4. He said that when he sings in front of people attending their concert and the audience sings back the lyrics of the song he said it was like making love...I wonder if Adam feels the same 5. He also said that after the concert when fans flocked to him for autographs he gets hurt when nobody asked for his drummer/any band member's autograph. This, I have a question. First I know Steven is a member of the band and not just a recording artist like Adam but maybe at that time there was not a lot of exposure like twitters/blogs that the band members name were not a popular than the frontman? To tell you the truth I've never heard of Monte until he joined Adam but I did hear of Brian May (no comparison but just an example - Question: Do other frontmen introduced their band mates like Adam does? I've never attended any concert other than Adam's so I have no idea if others do it as well.

Artist Supporter (ALA Dr. Sherrie Richey) made the same mistake a few other people have made -- they confused their fan or working relationship with Adam as friendship. Adam has made it clear he values his fan, he appreciates the people who work with him, but that appreciate is not friendship.
There have been several people who pushed things too far and then Adam drew the line. Thankfully, the vast majority of Adam's fans and associates understand the relationship.
Finally, and I am not justifying what happened on Twitter to Sherrie, but she brought most of it on herself when she complained about Adam on Twitter -- and would not drop it. JMHO YMMV.

OT but I had to stop by to brag a little to the other Finns on the board. I'm just about to fly to LA to see Nightwish tonight! Nightwish is a great Finnish band that rarely plays here. I'm going to keep my eyes open for a tall dark haired guy and a shorter blond... People have told Sauli about this concert in his blog comments and he reads them. So a girl can hope... ...keep us posted!

I've gotta chime in on the grammar/punctuation thing. I've been a secretary (when that word was cool before AA) for over 35 years and used excellent grammar and punctuation. After not working for 10 years and being on the internet, I wonder if I could actually type a proper letter anymore. And yes I loved my IBM correcting Selectric. Being able to correct was just fucking amazing. Remember when copy machines first became common? You didn't have to use that nasty fucking carbon paper anymore. Anyone remember the first computer word processing program they had to learn? WordStar for me. I refused to use the mouse because if I had to take my fingers off the keyboard, I couldn't type 90 WPM anymore. Damn, things have changed. I can still type as fast as I used to, but that's an irrelevant skill anymore. I can still take shorthand at probably 80 wpm. Maybe I should be taking care of transcribing interviews and stuff here. It would put me back in practice, but what for? The only AA positions anymore are for legal secretaries. I've done that, but don't want to work for any attorneys anymore.

LOL, Pick you up made me dance! It is a song that I still haven't heard too many times (being a newbie) but it was fun.
