I swear I was going to link to this a couple days ago because there really are some interesting comparisons to be made with Adam in the article. The one I remember is trying to shed his Ziggy image and persona and how it worked and didn't. Made me thing of Adam shedding his rhinestones for his next incarnation. But It was flail time and I was always 20 pages behind. I also had many more insightful, yet witty comments that you would have found delightful had I not been so slow to catchup.  I SWEAR! :  Seriously, thanks to everyone who brought the goodies and flailing over tha past few day!  I missed this in era one and don't know how you keep up! Interesting that this article talks about Bowie trying to shed his Ziggy image.. It is probably for the best that Adam shed the Rhinestones and Glitter now before that becomes his WHOLE schtick.. (ala LG)... I will miss it though.. #mourning As will I miss studs and spikes... ack.. noesssssss I really like his badboy look.. really like my bad boys  LOL Don't get me wrong I like all his looks.. just not sure I want him to straighten it out completely.. haha Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm in mourning as well. If he can just keep his leather, I could manage |

It was more of a warbled scream. Associated Press is saying that it would not get him to Hollywood, while Deadspin called it one of the worst anthems of all time.
At least he did wear the best scarf in the history of scarves. Pageant queens everywhere now know why there is a worldwide shortage on sequins.

I noticed that Adam has red eye (one!) in this pic. How do you explain that?? >:( BTW, the large version of this pic shows that his skin is quite flawless. It's not a professional pic, it was taken by someone at the radio station, so it wasn't retouched or anything.  Off with that photographer's head!! They are trying to disprove my theory that he IS an alien (or at least, Super Human... ) Don't worry, I'm sure someone tempered with the picture just to discredit your perfect theory! But we here know better, don't we? |

Real life is marching across my desk.
But, I'll face it like the Leo Tiger that I am, with the help of the Ox whose been the best part of my life for many, many years!!
We are both beginning to reveal how time has accompanied us.
When I met Adam in Honolulu - knowing I had a 'front row' seat - I asked him to please see the 17-year-old in me; hidden just behind my white hair; and not 'hold back' - - - and he gave me a hug, and laughed, and said "Don't worry - I never hold back!"
And I won't either.
Wish I could post more often; I say hello to all the new 'Topians! You bring energy and new, global perspectives to this wonderful home.
I continue to lurk. Just wish I had more to say.
Love you all! Can't wait for Trespassing! I will find a way to cross the line, into the bliss, again.
