Well.. we shouldn't be surprise whether he's going to perform on AI or not... now the question is whether he's going to be on AI to sing BTIKM or to premier the next single right before Trespassing the album is released? means another couple of months  I think he will sing BTIKM and it will be the week of March 22nd or March 29th. That makes the most sense to me. He sang WWFM in March of 2010 and that was after it had been out since Nov. 2009. My message to the universe is that the 2nd single comes out right after that (beginning of April) and he sings that at the Finale because it is so damn HUGE!!! Yes, I am Cuckoo! ;D I have always dreaming that Adam will perform again on the finale but the only Idol who performed twice on AI the same year's Kelly. But we can always dream. And my dream is he will perform full with backup dancers ;D ;D ;D btw, I've been watching BTIKM - Lenos performance and watching Kevin on the background and then thinking about Adam's European promo leg. I think it will make sense for his accoustic performance he will bring Kevin & Issac on the promo tour. I mean Kevin's the musical director and I think he plays more than one instruments. |

Hey- I'm another new one. Been checking this out for about a week and thought I had to join. And guess what? I'm a young (23yo) guy! I think it's funny that Adam doesn't have more 'out' guy fans. I've never really been into his glitz and glam (which is totally fine, just not my style), but how can you deny his talent? Anyway, hopefully the new album will get people to stop thinking about his sexuality and start hearing that voice! Welcome..........reihmer is probaby sleeping : he is the BEST WELCOMING COMMITTEE! Yay!!! Welcome!!!  Curious about what your male friends think about you being an Adam fan? Well some of them definitely make fun of me, in jest. Others think he's got a great voice, but get turned off by his live performances (aka uncomfortable with their sexuality). Others think he's too pop-esque, when they want him to be rock. Oh well. I know Adam has said he's a post-gay man in a pre-gay industry...might as well say a pre-gay society too (at least in the US). |

Did you mean Carrie? Carrie has performed more than once in several seasons. One year, counting Idol Gives Back, she was on 3 times! I think David Cook was on twice during AAdam's season too. |

I'd never heard a guy sing like that (unless you count some of the 80's rockers, but really they couldn't hit those notes in chest voice like Adam can). And then I followed him ever since. I have to admit I didn't like all of FYE, but there were some stellar moments. And, really, as long as I can hear those high notes and belts, I'm happy regardless of the song's content. Of course, though, I'd like him to reach a broader audience so he can keep making music! Really looking forward to this album. |

Wow, all kinds of Monkeys have come out since I first posted. YAY!! Lots of Monkey business can be done on this board. And, Gypsy, don't feel bad about not being as fanatic as everyone else ... I've never revealed my interests. I'm a heavy metal and opera fan ... but somehow, Adam just sneaked up on me ... and all 3 are a bit OTT so it seems perfectly normal. Hi, isitjustme!  Happy to meet another opera fan ! I was always "out" with my severe limited scope of musical interests: classical and Adam  ... although since being "under the spell" I keep trying (and failing) to appreciate other genres... GNAFL is our special and unique genre  |

Boston top 40 station (Kiss 108) played BTIKM again today and the DJ said Adam is booked to perform on American Idol. Hmmmmm I was thinking maybe it wouldn't happen this year since he parted ways with 19E. I know he still has a contract with 19R, but I'm not sure how much they make off him and if it would have been worth giving him a slot. Sorry, I'd file this under: THINGS TO NOT WORRY ABOUT. Adam is a major GET with media. Once this album drops he doesn't need inside connections or whatever. He is a draw on his own. Anyone with one working ear or eyeball can perceive that. Shows need content. They need talent. They need draw. They need people to watch. They do not want embarrassing debacles like the Lana del Ray incident. Talent, in the sense of a great interview, gorgeous to look at, a stunning live singer, and a charismatic personality with a little controversy thrown in is the perfect amalgamation of the easy book. Add to that, he's honest, raw, complex, thoughtful and knows WTF he's talking about. Seriously, I can not imagine any talent booker scorning Adam as a potential guest, especially if his single does even remotely well (which I have full faith that it will). This is the very least of our worries. |
