I remember that. I was so pissed. I think they totally disrespected him, especially Steven Tyler. Yet wasn't some rapper on that stunk but Steven gave him a standing ovation. Oops, just realized you were referring to the first time. I just remember the last time he was there when he sang Aftermath that the judges didn't give him the time of day. Yep, same thing that time. WTF!!!

Your hard work is fantastic but I think I'm in there twice, a snake and a lamb. I pretty sure I'm a snake! Tonight I really feel like one! : Thanks heriemelissa, corrected!

I think it was Diddy with that song that had Skylar Grey on it too.

Question about album purchase: 1. When I order a digital download and a physical CD in AdamOfficial will each be counted as a unit, just separate category or will they be counted as one purchase? 2. Is the free BTIKM single download from AO be counted or not since it is a bonus? No LINKS for credit from AO via our site? Just iTunes and Amazon? Thanks. I am way late in answering this but here you go... 1. If you buy a CD album and and digital album, it counts as two sales units. Just like if you buy 2 CDs, it counts as 2 units. 2. If you buy the AO.com Adam Store special album bundle with the immediate download of BTIKM, it only counts as an album sale. The digital track is free and not a sale. 3. There is no link from this site to AO.com/Sony Store because they do not have an affiliate program. Amazon, iTunes and CDNow all give a small percentage back to this site for the link and that helps keep ATop advertising free for Members.

Maria1, THANKS for posting your recap! Yes, that guy with the loooooooooong dreads would be impossible to miss in person! Still listening to their song, will check out second one after this is over...
GOOD FOR YOU FOR GOING! I love live music SO very much that I just can't let my age stand in the way of going whenever I can. And when we all got together to see The ParloTones we weren't as young as the majority of the audience, but we had every bit as much fun! AND the guys in the band talked to us, too!
Nope. Not gonna stop. I'll go to hear whatever live music I want to for as long as I can. May have to re-think standing/GA in a few years--but not yet!

If the official debut is Saturday, 1/28, I'm still saying we'll get it leaked/sneaked/premiered Friday 1/27. That is my story and I'm sticking to it!!!! Those are my dates too. Friday on AO.com and somewhere else online. Saturday on VH1 TV premiere.

The one thing I remember about Adam's first return to Idol was how the judges just sat there like lumps. Adam blew the roof off and they didn't move. His week as mentor was stellar and that performance was breathtaking. Now Seacrest, as I said way back didn't seem to support Adams music on his show at all. On E, not a mention of his very successful world tour. Yes, they gave him a platform and he's thanked them a thousand times but I would like to see them cover something other than the controversies! That's all, rant over, sorry! I remember that. I was so pissed. I think they totally disrespected him, especially Steven Tyler. Yet wasn't some rapper on that stunk but Steven gave him a standing ovation. Adam's first return to Idol was 2010, and it was still Simon. The only comment Simon made was that he couldn't even see Adam because of all the smoke! LOL! :

Hmmmmm I was thinking maybe it wouldn't happen this year since he parted ways with 19E. I know he still has a contract with 19R, but I'm not sure how much they make off him and if it would have been worth giving him a slot. Sorry, I'd file this under: THINGS TO NOT WORRY ABOUT. Adam is a major GET with media. Once this album drops he doesn't need inside connections or whatever. He is a draw on his own. Anyone with one working ear or eyeball can perceive that. Shows need content. They need talent. They need draw. They need people to watch. They do not want embarrassing debacles like the Lana del Ray incident. Talent, in the sense of a great interview, gorgeous to look at, a stunning live singer, and a charismatic personality with a little controversy thrown in is the perfect amalgamation of the easy book. Add to that, he's honest, raw, complex, thoughtful and knows WTF he's talking about. Seriously, I can not imagine any talent booker scorning Adam as a potential guest, especially if his single does even remotely well (which I have full faith that it will). This is the very least of our worries. Yes, this. And I also expect him to perform on The Voice as well, since the makers of that show seems to be such big berts and the network, NBC as well, if their tweets has anything to go by.

8-) I remember that. I was so pissed. I think they totally disrespected him, especially Steven Tyler. Yet wasn't some rapper on that stunk but Steven gave him a standing ovation. Yes, can't remember who, maybe Drake. Not sure though. But yes, Steven stood up for that. Makes me wonder sometimes what their problem was. Maybe realizing its over for them and on to the new best in music! Last season the judges gave every non-Idol guest a standing ovation (if it wasn't pre-taped) and they pretty much ignored every Idol. They even did not give Kelly and Jason Aldean a standing O. It seeemed to be par for the course. I was in the audience, for Aftermath, and the interaction with Adam and the judges, during commercial, was very warm, especially with Steven. He seemed to be very engaged in his conversation with Adam.
