I love Believe, I love Adam's look here, as well. But, I find it disingenuous when someone says they have NEVER heard of Adam or Cher. Right? Some of these "reaction" people are so full of shit lol. All they want is clicks. I find it hard to believe that somebody hasn't at least heard of Cher.

Well, I think it boils down to having preferences in how we look at celebrities and how they choose to present themselves.
I'm a plain Jane myself and don't really enjoy looking at OTT anything, whether it's clothes or makeup...don't care whether it's gay or straight or anything else. I love, love, love Adam's voice and I tend to find the weird clothes and makeup distracting. But I've gotten used to that it's something he enjoys, and I love listening to him so I pretty ignore it. I'm not a fan of SS or Demi, or Lizzo or any of these other people, so their outrageous behavior and clothing (or non-clothing in Lizzo's case) doesn't entice me to WANT to listen to them. Because they don't have a voice and a talent that distracts me from the other stuff. For me personally, Adam can pretty much wear whatever the hell he wants, because at the end of the day what makes me happy is his voice and his talent. Yep. I don't care much for Lizzo, Beyonce, Billy Porter, LNX, Nick Jonas, Sam, or Gaga either. Tho I think Gaga is less OTT and taken more seriously and gets so much more critical acclaim than she did when she just looked so try so hard, imo. To me, Beyonce is a good dancer but not a big fan of her singing. I prefer Rihanna's style tho many don't like her either, lol. But gay/straight no one is going to like everything a celebrity does or wears. So not going to tip toe around saying so based on someone's sexuality tho I wouldn't post on their videos. If you look silly to me you just look silly regardless of sexuality or if someone else approves. I have heard people say they don't like Adele and call her boring and who is straighter and plainer than that? But we love Adam and he will present himself the way he wants but it is unrealistic to think his fans will like every single look without comment. Adam will not fall apart cause someone does not care for a particular look, shaved head, heavy beard and makeup or an outfit. Not sure why he responds to the trolls, who just want to be nasty and post on his videos, but he wants to so he does.

I enjoy watching reaction videos of Adam's performances....IF the person has some credentials for reviewing. This guy was questionable when he said he didn't know who Adam was. But, then, he lost all credibility when he mispronounced Cher's name and said he didn't know who that was. When the camera showed her on screen he didn't recognize her either. I switched it off then. He has absolutely nothing I want to hear.

Hasn't heard of Queen either. I actually kind of enjoyed watching a real newbie. Absolutely no preconceptions other than predisposed to nice. Sort of what someone just hearing a song on the radio for the first time might think.

TV INSIDER9 Biggest Success Stories From âAmerican Idolâ
Once upon a time, American Idol was the biggest thing on television, churning out music superstars left and right. The original Fox series ended with Season 15 in 2016, but it wasnât long before it came back to the small screens. The singing competition made its return in 2018 on ABC with OG host Ryan Seacrest and has been running ever since. Now, American Idol Season 21 premieres Sunday, February 19 at 8/7c on ABC (its sixth season on the network), and judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan will be on the hunt for the next Idol success story. The search begins in New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Nashville in the first episode, with audition episodes set to continue for several more Sundays. As evidenced by the hit-makers the show has produced, American Idol has a longer history of finding stars than its fellow singing competitions like The Voice (even if some of those stars ended up as coaches on the NBC reality series). Here, we look back at the nine singers who represent American Idolâs biggest success stories (in no particular order) ahead of the showâs return. Whoâs your favorite of them all? 9. Adam Lambert
The glam-rocker has led a stealthily successful career, thanks in part to a very dedicated fan base. 2012âs Trespassing debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart; his third album, The Original High (featuring the whistle-y dance single âGhost Townâ), hits shelves in June 2015. In a boon of a vocal endorsement, Adam Lambert stepped into Freddie Mercuryâs shoes as Queenâs lead singer (under the name Queen + Adam Lambert) in 2011, taking part in several worldwide tours from 2011-2022. The band performed at Queen Elizabeth IIâs Platinum Jubilee concert on June 4, 2022. www.tvinsider.com/gallery/american-idol-biggest-success-stories-kelly-clarkson-carrie-underwood/

I don't find it hard to believe that a young person wouldn't know who Adam is. Adam is over 40, not on American TV or movies, and has had only a few minor hits years ago. I know plenty of people who don't know who he is. Cher is definitely more well known, but at age 76 is not necessarily on the radar of young people. I'm pretty ignorant about much popular music even from the eras I've lived through--some of you rave about stars from the 80s and 90s and I'm clueless. It happens.

I can't deny that SS and Kim Petras have an earworm of a tune in Unholy, even if I can't understand half the words. The performances and choreography leave me less impressed. Like LNX, a lot of effort to be "shocking". I can't tell you what "most" gay people would do or present themselves. I don't personally know anyone in pop music or the fashion industry. The ones I do know are classical musicians, psychologists, scientists, priests. So, they dress like other classical musicians, psychologists, scientists and priests in public life. So, I give a pass to those persons who are able to be more "outrageous" in their public persona as an entertainer.
