I am happy that Adam did as well as he did and that he also cracked the BB200 chart. That's not a given. We could argue that Adam might have sold a few more albums amongst non fans if he had "toned down" his eye make-up at GMA and/or worn a different outfit at The View, but it is water under the bridge. Adam likes to do his thing, switch things up, and be unpredictable. I hope he is fully aware that his voice alone and the variety of songs that he is able to so effortlessly perform are "surprise" enough. At least for me. But then again, Adam is Adam
I don't want to beat the dead "radio play" horse over and over again, but I will continue to do my part as a fan by streaming HD on Spotify, sharing on social media, and playing his official Youtube videos. I bought physical copies (gifts) on Amazon and a signed one at his store. I also got the digital version at his store. Adam has a team that I trust to handle the rest. No artist is like the other so I am sure they know what to do to get Adam to where he wants to be. He seems happy and relaxed and he must be at a good place in his life. Cool that Adam sold out the RAH so quickly. That sure would not happen to someone like Daughtry, a very different: : artist. Edit: Someone just gently made me aware that D will play at RAH too, though he is not sold out yet. I think that it was a clever move to choose the RAH venue for Adam, given the location and the uniqueness of the place. However, I think it is unrealistic to expect a solo tour from Adam during this "building" phase. I expect him to play some one offs to feel things out, and when it happens I will make every effort to see him.
