I guess a lot of us were on the same wave length this a.m. especially after the discussion yesterday. I too don't think we have progressed as far as we think we have in our nation's acceptance of the GLBT community. The Jackie Robinson analogy rings true and is sorta what I was thinking to myself -- just articulated better. That's why I mentioned yesterday that I no longer "closet" my affection for Adam and his music. The eye rolls I get when I start talking are miniscule to what Adam must face on a regular basis. In my area we have A LOT of KA fans and alot of C&W fans -- which is fine, I like both -- but, sometimes it seems you aren't "allowed" to like both -- it seems to have become an either/or choice. The same as pop vs. rock -- you can't like Adam Lambert AND Country. I live in an area with some really cordial, fine folks and, I say this without prejudice, very short-sighted when it comes to "outsiders". I'm considered an outsider because I'm a Yankee AND, heaven forbid, a METHODIST. So, you can imagine how I'd be perceived if I were to be gay. EGAD! I have forever been embarrassed for a discussion I got into with a work associate. He was an Idol follower, an ex-marine, a National Guardsman, an Iraqi war vet, a good family guy who cared for his wife, daughter and mother-in-law. He was someone I grew to respect very much. I came to know him almost directly after Season 8. He voted for KA and the first dance at his wedding was to KA. I asked him what he thought of Adam Lambert. OMG -- his tirade was unbelievable -- I just shut down and clammed up. I just couldn't believe I was hearing such hateful words from someone I had come to respect. I was so insulted that I was perceived as a person who would side with those kinds of extremely biased opinions. I don't know why I didn't stand up and defend that day but I didn't. After much thought I came to terms with my behaviour by promising I wouldn't stay quiet when confronted with that sort of prejudice again. And, now I don't. So, I'm a million percent behind Adam and his music and, if it takes longer than I think it should, it probably is but I'm not going to angst and get discouraged -- just give my constant support. BTW -- after all that -- Amazon or I-Tunes to order an album download for Adam's birthday? I've already ordered the CD from AO. I'll tell you why you didn't say anything... because at the time it was probably unconceivable that you would know someone that spew (whatever they spewed) that kind of talk. I've been in similar situations where you are just so blind sighted that you are completely speechless. Often people who are verbally vomiting on you are not in a position to hear anything you have to say at that moment. Its good that this happened, because now I bet it won't happen again.

Do we know about this? ??? ILive4Music14 AshleyGlamert #Glamberts BTIKM video is coming out on VEVO and iTunes on Monday, January 30th!!! 44 minutes ago LoveStuds17 Meera wut? 34 minutes ago in reply to ↑ @ilive4music14ashleyglamert @lovestuds17 @attieycqkaah I can't wait! I got an email about it! :D 31 minutes ago This wouldn't surprise me, it's in line with what we have heard. Premiere (on vh1 maybe?) Friday or this weekend; available on VEVO and itunes monday. As a side note, I really don't get this strategy of giving vh1 the video premieres for Adam's videos. I mean, VEVO seems like much more in line with his desired demographic. But what do I know... Because VH1 LOVES Adam! They have been huge supporters for everyone of his videos and even in the time periods between his songs and albums. When I saw huge...I mean they are BERTS! Also, the past shows that Adam's mv pushes his sales and VH1 has been a big part of that.

Could someone please explain what the numbers mean ? You know, the 223 169 etc.... : OK, I think I know most of this. 223 is yesterday's spins. 164 is the numbert from last week, the same day., so in that row, they are comparing this week to last week, for the same day. However, +3 is up from #41 of yesterday. And the +17 is the spins up from yesterday, which were 206 I have never been able to figure out the Bullet. 0.897 is the Audience Impressions = how many people are hearing the song. It has to do wiht the market of each station! Thank you so much !! Just one more question- what dies the 59 mean ?

I don't think that the UK would be getting a new single. it makes no sense. After all this dude was proven to be wrong before. Didn;t he tweet and say that Adam would be doing *limited* UK promo and then Shoshanna was like, erm no he will be going there and doing more than limited shit. Also Shoshanna tweeted just the other day that BTIKM is going to UK radio soon. So either this dude is high on his own shit again--ATTENTION WHOOOORE--or has totally wrogn info, or has mixed up info about his legit second single and the fact that he will go back to promo that later. After he goes there now to promo BTIKM. I take anything this dude says with a grain of salt. I am noticing a pattern of DJs who are asses !

So, 223 was yesterday. 164 was last week, 59 was the previous week. So that row shows you how it is picking up or falling from week to week. The +17 shows you how it is moving up or down from the previous day!

It has to do wiht the market of each station! Just a clarification.... this is the Rolling 7 Day Mediabase Chart. It says that for the 7 days ending Tuesday 1/24/12 there were 223 spins on Hot AC Stations Monitored by Mediabase -- not that there was 223 spins on Tuesday 1/24/12. The Mediabase Hot AC panel is composed of 92 radio station whose programming is Hot AC -- Hot Adult Contemporary. This format targets women 25-50 years old who are not Hip Hop/Urban music fans. It is Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson and Daughtry friendly radio. Top 40 hits that are not too "urban" and lighter dance tracks are played here. These are the stations that played WWFM the most. A detailed explanation of how to read Mediabase charts in the info thread adamtopia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=strategy&thread=649&page=1

Don't be so hard on yourself! You can't educate anyone who is proud to be ignorant. I have a similar problem in living in a very socially conservative area. I am constantly SHOCKED at what people think is appropriate casual conversation with someone they don't know or just met. It's such a complete violation of the etiquette rules I was brought up by that it always leaves me sort of gasping for air. I have learned to cut the conversation off at the knees and I'm not terribly polite about it either. "Your beliefs are none of my business" is my usual exit line. Can only imagine what it's like to be Adam and deal with this shit every day of his life. He handles it remarkably well. So if he's performing with them at the music festival does that debunk the Olympics rumor?

I kind of hope not. The would be benefits and drawbacks to both.
