There must be something in the Adamstorm. First it was Theosgma, now it's me. Ended up in th ER this morning with chest pains. Tests show no heart attack (thank God) but my heart rate is quite low so I have to stay overnight for observation.
When the nurse was taking an ultrasound of my heart, the screen looked eerily like the vortex when Adam sang WWFM on Idol and I kept thinking, he is in there somewhere and will come out anytime now. Then I realized, yes he is in my heart now and forever!
No pain now after they gave me a low dose of morphine. I am actually a little loopy now, LOL!

But this is a metal festival. The headliners last year were Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax; in 2010 the headliners included Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper and Rammstein. This doesn't seem like the type of festival that Queen would perform at. I'm still holding out hope for the Olympics. ;D |

Don't be so hard on yourself! You can't educate anyone who is proud to be ignorant. I have a similar problem in living in a very conservative area. I am constantly SHOCKED at what people think is appropriate casual conversation with someone they don't know or just met. It's such a complete violation of the etiquette rules I was brought up by that it always leaves me sort of gasping for air. I have learned to cut the conversation off at the knees and I'm not terribly polite about it either. "Your beliefs are none of my business" is my usual exit line. Can only imagine what it's like to be Adam and deal with this shit every day of his life. He handles it remarkably well. So if he's performing with them at the music festival does that debunk the Olympics rumor?
I kind of hope not. The would be benefits and drawbacks to both. One would only be exclusive of the other if it were the same day, right? :-/ |

I don't see why it would. The festival is July 6th through the 8th, and the Olympics start July 27th and run through August 12th, so there would be time to do both. And didn't Adam imply or even say outright that he might be doing some things (plural) with Queen in the future?

I was getting ready to post when my electricity went off...so I'll try again. So excited to see BTIKM is #38 on HAC!!  We will get the BTIKM video this weekend....I'm hoping!! Waiting for Lydnsey Parker's Part 2 with Adam....he'll tells us about more songs!!  I interested to hear if Adam and Queen will perform at this Festival. Maybe the deal just went through and they couldn't confirm it when Roger was asked earlier....but I know nothing. NOREASTER so glad you joined us!!
