This fits perfectly with a lot of today's conversation, actually. If you look at this list, you might think that he just selected ridiculous (in his mind) album covers. Nope, this is for the most part about his discomfort with male sexuality or the display of something that could be construed as gay....look at it, only very few exceptions and those have other sexual reasons to be weird. Yes, the battle for Adam is so much harder than people think and to be honest, I have learned a lot the last 3 years about... - how far backwards the music business is (compared to other entertainment industry), - how terribly homophobic / juvenile radio is, - how many things I as a straight person can learn to better have my ducks in a row when it comes to conversations or - how to be just more sensitive to recognizing things a bit earlier. I don't think that if a person is on a hate rant that you will be able to change that person. Sometimes just saying nothing and just raise your eye brows or perhaps saying, it is clear we agree to disagree and I am saddened to see humans hate, is all that can be done. Yes, it is tough and I have been in situation where I was successful to standing up to prejudice and I have been in situation where either I was too weak to speak up or where I was up against the group and was totally shut down by a crowd. Both situations make you walk away like a dog with its tail between its legs, but the reality is, you can only fight it a day at a time and as best you can and perhaps some of the silent folks who say nothing may at least see your point. You never know. Craazyforadam I loved your post. I know I've been in the type of situations you speak about. I remember someone here at Atopia (sorry I can't remember who) gave a really helpful idea on what to say when somebody starts the comments like 'Well, you know that Adam Lambert is gay" etc. They said they say, "And that's a problem because...?" I find it's a really good way to make the person saying these comments have to stop and be accountable for their words. Most of the time they feel uncomfortable and STFU and I just politely smile and move on. I found that link somebody posted yesterday for listening to where Adam is being play throughout the world. It's: tunein.com/radio/Adam-Lambert-m466581/ It's a fun link!

Some pretty for this page, cropped and modified from Adam-pictures.com Hey y'all. I hope I don't annoy/upset anyone by saying this, just offering my opinion into the mix and I want to make clear that on the whole I'm HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY with everything about the Trespassing era and feel extremely optimistic ( especially about the music!)... ...I wasn't even going to mention anything because no point, but then iceish posted the above. I was very interested to see you post this, iceish, and I really appreciate the juxtaposition, because my first thought when seeing this new portrait on Q3's banner this morning was how much I preferred it to the one on the album cover. It just looks so much more compelling to me without all the human details washed away (and I don't mean flaws--I don't think any sane person could look at that picture and see flaws). There's just something about the smudged "perfection" of Lee's adjusted image that empties the Adam out of it for me, and certainly when I think about what Adam has said about what he understands the title, Trespassing, to mean, the lefthand image seems much more suited to it to me, much more intimate. Plus, he just looks so much more like a grown man in it to me (love that combination of grown man plus visible makeup) and that's just sexy as fuck IMO...there's something a little too childishly softened in the album image for me (note: I'm not talking masculine/feminine here; rather grown -up v. childish).... HOWEVER, needless to say that while I personally have this and other issues with the album cover, I'm thrilled that people seem to love it and think it will do very well for him. And to be fair, many of my complaints would apply to most solo pop album covers out today, and clearly the record company marketers know a lot more than I do, so I'm not gonna give my personal preferences much credence, industry-wise... Just found the side-by-side interesting... ? ETA: just want to add, to clarify, that I don't need everything to be super-real. I'm actually cool with very stylized album covers (thought the FYE cover was kinda awesome, in it's way)-- just not sure this one is quite working for me, but that's totally okay, it doesn't have to.

Interesting perspective but he was targeted for years -- long before he started to promote Megabox. Kim Dotcom (yes, that is his legal name) the founder and CEO of MegaUpload has been part of illegal digital schemes for decades -- starting out by stealing credit card numbers. He will probably wiggle out of this one two. In the meantime, a site that was used for many legal purposes is now gone. However, there is no way to make this guy look good to me --- just think how many illegal copies of Adam's music were distributed on this site and how much money he helped people steal from Adam. In the 16th century the pirates hung out in Jamaca, until last week, they hung out on MegaUpload.

Umm, what??!! Well, I guess Dang Dang was his Chinese name IIRC. LOL. insomniac19 insomniac19 BTW who is Amal Lambert anyway? 6 minutes ago in reply to ↑ @squirrely007 Secret Squirrel @insomniac19 that's his Muslim name. 5 minutes ago I hope people aren't going to start demanding to see his birth certificate. sorry, couldn't resist .... comparing the two scenarios just made me laugh … and it is a very clever analogy/thought/idea (?) Oh my don’t get me started …. This could get messy … thinking of Neil’s tweets/political views … and … oh no … SCROLL ALERT, I’M MAUDLING!!! Haven’t posted for a while, but read it all … even at work, just to keep up. Here is a summary of my thoughts, which are all over the place: I get some of the angsting, but still in this era THERE IS NO STOPPING GNAFL!!! He will win, and pull through and win loooots of new peeps over. ad BTW I don’t want him to do as well as Gaga, Katy, Bruno or whoever else is out there ... I just know he will bring his own planet (guess which) into this universe … Adam will make his OWN space. (Sidestep: Where does the meme come from, that he wants to be a pop star? My impression was, his goal was to be able to express himself. Without labels?) No matter how long it takes whisper: even if it needs album 3 or 4 Adam will make it, and we will stand by him. Whatever he makes happen along the way, I am grateful for, but I will not demand or feel entitled to* (the only things I will forever demand is music and pictures of the pretty). Sure, I have my sidelines of fascination (like Sauli, and bass players, and haircuts, and life shows, and godsons, and former BFs (loooove “husbands”) and Raja, aso, aso) but the center will always be, that I believe that AFL is the FUTURE and I will tell my greatgrandnieces/nephews that I was a Glambert waybackwhen … minutiae of how he/we spent the hike there don't concern me much**. Wheew, a long post for me, lots of ideas inside (and I left out / deleted all my thought on the pictures, which I have plenty, and are vocal, and visceral and … ) Consensus with all of you: I love that man. AND I love the company of all of you on this journey!!! ETA: *meaning suitable recognition of his greatness from whover, because: They will eat their words one day ETA**: because I can never find the time to post when appropriate and after a couple of hours my concerns have vanished I feel I need to add the ETAs because my post seems harsh and judicial of those who think of details ... sorry about that!

There must be something in the Adamstorm. First it was Theosgma, now it's me. Ended up in th ER this morning with chest pains. Tests show no heart attack (thank God) but my heart rate is quite low so I have to stay overnight for observation. When the nurse was taking an ultrasound of my heart, the screen looked eerily like the vortex when Adam sang WWFM on Idol and I kept thinking, he is in there somewhere and will come out anytime now. Then I realized, yes he is in my heart now and forever! No pain now after they gave me a low dose of morphine. I am actually a little loopy now, LOL! Mayumi...
