So does this mean that now the song is doing good and might be a hit in the making? It is good news. It continues to gain. It is a long way from a hit -- and it is too early to tell what will happen with it. There should be a big push associated with the MV release this weekend and next week. (Assuming it is really getting released.) WWFM was a Top 10 hit and it took 6 weeks to enter the Billbaord chart and peaked 6 months after release. IIHY peaked on 10/2/12 album 6 months after release. BTIKM is very early in its life. Particularly looking at Adam's history. It it is like WWFM, it will peak in late May 2012. Top 40 on the Mediabase Hot AC chart and three hundred spins in a week is not a hit -- YET. That's a pretty nice turn around in less than 48 hours ;D of course I agree it's a long way from a hit but it's only just gone for adds this week so I'm not surprised that it's not sitting in the top 10 yet. I'm curious though, if you don't mind indulging me that is, what changed from yesterday to today? Did you go back and look at the chart trajectory of Adam's other songs and realize that he's more of a slow builder? I'm not complaining about the change in opinion just wondering what brought it on since nothings changed that I can see for the song. |

Thoughts on the new interview clips. 1. The more I hear about the songs the more confident I am that I will. Love. This. Album. I tend to be a "deep end of the pool gal," and it sounds like we are going to have some deep, touching, profound stuff along with the dance your ass off numbers. OOL, Underneath, and Chokehold all sound very promising. And if Adam keeps his promise to feature the voice prominently, I will be a very happy Cassie.
2. I smiled to hear him say he doesn't have any other interests/hobbies other than entertainment and the arts. This is so true of the musician friends I have known over the years. Their art consumes them. They are so dedicated, they are always looking at everything from the perspective of their passion (sort of like people here tend to see everything in terms of Adam.)
3. Glad to hear that most fan questions were about the music. I am sure that is an affirmation for Adam. He wants to be known as just a normal guy (who is a little crazy) who is making good music. It also shows that his fans are in it for the "right" reasons. For the music, not the celebrity du jour.
4. Big, wide smiles that Adam seems so happy with Sauli. The relationship sounds deep, fulfilling, dependable, and supportive.
Yup. Great stuff in the clips. A happy day for me on ATop.
