B R E A K I N G N E W SWe interupt your regularly scheduled berting to bring you the following : vimeo.com/32737435I just found this EDITED vid of EMA - It has Adam walking on to the stage, all of his strut down the catwalk during WWRY, and him fist pumping and stomping during that song, and them back on stage after the performance. Audio is great too! Check it out. yes this is one that unedited or something, coz we can see also at the end when they all standing together. I love this one video. Thanks for bringing this one back.

LOL, it's really an interesting place! A little pricey for me--so I'll just borrow my friend's sewing machine and see if I can whip up something in a nice gauzy fabric--a straightjacket suitable for spring/summer--at 1/4 the price! Hoopla...doesn't seem too hard. How 'bout a nice cotton one. LOL (skip to 1:20) www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_KB7A3uJpIHey, THANKS! I'm serious, I might try this...and this step by step vid makes it look easy! I was going to try to sew some things for BM anyway, so I will try a straightjacket, too! (It'll make it easier on everybody when they come to take me away--HA HA--they're coming to take me away ;D AND, I just remembered--on one of the Chinese astrology days, you posted a beautiful pic of a dragon--if you know what I'm talking about, could you pm me the link to that pic? Thanks! ETA: Mahailia, thanks for that particular EMA link!

Do you think some fans didn't buy the single because they received it for free when they pre-ordered the album? Or that some are waiting for the album to come out? I really would be surprised if Adam's fans are stealing the song. We seem to be looking for ways to throw our money at him. We know that is important, and we want him to have his dimmers. By the way, where does the 60,000 number come from? Just curious. I admit I am puzzled. I think it may be all of the above. The sales for BTIKM are from Nielsen Soundscan via USA Today Idol Chatter. Sales week (1) 12/25/11 - 38,800 (2) 1/01/12 - 17,900 (total) 56,700 (3) 1/08/12 - 6,000 (total) 63,000 (4) 1/15/12 - unknown (5) 1/22/12 - unknown, up 96% It is easy to download anything for free. And there are multiple places to it on the web. (One less now with the shut down of MegaUpload.) Lots of artists give the lead single as a bonus with an album preorder so I do not this that is the issue. I am not sure anyone knows what is going on but my guess is that it was the screwy release schedule and the attempt to do an online buzz launch. Thank goodness RCA is doing some normal promo now. With the video release and push to Top 40 -- I am expecting to see more airplay and in 2 to 3 weeks sales that make me smile. I am happy about RCA for the first time in weeks. Or there could be lots more dinosaurs out there like me who don't own an iPod, or any of that ilk, so never buy downloads of anything. (I took the free song, but I never play it because I try to give Vevo etc. hits while on the computer.) I DID order multiple copies of the CD though for gifting to grandkids and friends.

Hehe....you guys are all so much more politically correct than I am. Not buying it. Did you SEE his facial expressions and the direct "you know what I'm talkin' about" look into the camera? Oh well.....no biggy. But I enjoyed it. (I'm evil that way ) I hadn't noticed that earlier in my quick first watch, but yes, I see the look on the second time through.

Yay, I'm finally home and I went and watched the videos. I'm really loving all of these goodies that were getting. Adam is looking just gorgeous, better then he ever has been, in my opinion. Hmm, I have a question, and I really hope it doesn't come off as me picking on Adam, cause I'm really not. I don't know if it's just me but..does Adam seem...different somehow? I don't know how to explain it exactly. When watching his old interviews from Idol, and FYE era, he seemed so...I don't know, sweet, full of youthful energy. In these interviews regarding this era, Adam just seems so much more, hmm, elegant, poised, happy, yet reserved, confident? I don't know, was just wondering if anyone else saw these differences, or is it just that it was a long few days so of course he's looking tired. I know exactly what you mean about the difference in Adam. My explanation is with the pre-release interviews it really was all new to him, he had the child-like enthusiasm and excitement. After the AMAs he was really putting his best foot forward and being himself, but also being aware of making a good impression. I remember when Jessie Cruickshank (SP?) had the split pants problem, Adam was laughing, but he kept looking to the side, probably at Lane to gauge what his response should be or how it was perceived. That happened in a few interviews at the time, like, "Is this okay?" Now, I get the feeling Adam has gained confidence ( although I think there's still anxiety and trepidation that no matter what he does he'll still be thought of as an outsider) from the tour, the people who lined up to work on Trespassing, and the reviews it's getting. He's older, wiser, knows that he can't please everyone but is trying to please himself and those who matter. And most of all, I think he really believes in this album and what it has to say. Our boy is growing up. Yes, I do think that Adam is more mature now, as in more aware of his role in the public eye.

Mika, had to delurk for this... a man that can quote Austen is ace in my book Oh all of this is true!! I think we need an Adam Fan Austin Book Group. “Without music, life would be a blank to me.” ― Jane Austen, Emma And from PandP (Elizabeth)... "There is a stubbornness about me that never can bear to be frightened at the will of others. My courage always rises at every attempt to intimidate me."I am so glad Adam is stubborn and courageous and not in the least concerned with naysayers.
