Or there could be lots more dinosaurs out there like me who don't own an iPod, or any of that ilk, so never buy downloads of anything. (I took the free song, but I never play it because I try to give Vevo etc. hits while on the computer.) I DID order multiple copies of the CD though for gifting to grandkids and friends. Yeah, I think there are a lot of people who just don't buy downloads but wait for the actual physical CD to purchase.

B R E A K I N G N E W SWe interupt your regularly scheduled berting to bring you the following : vimeo.com/32737435I just found this EDITED vid of EMA - It has Adam walking on to the stage, all of his strut down the catwalk during WWRY, and him fist pumping and stomping during that song, and them back on stage after the performance. Audio is great too! Check it out. Aw, thanks for bringing that over! Love it!

Yay, I'm finally home and I went and watched the videos. I'm really loving all of these goodies that were getting. Adam is looking just gorgeous, better then he ever has been, in my opinion. Hmm, I have a question, and I really hope it doesn't come off as me picking on Adam, cause I'm really not. I don't know if it's just me but..does Adam seem...different somehow? I don't know how to explain it exactly. When watching his old interviews from Idol, and FYE era, he seemed so...I don't know, sweet, full of youthful energy. In these interviews regarding this era, Adam just seems so much more, hmm, elegant, poised, happy, yet reserved, confident? I don't know, was just wondering if anyone else saw these differences, or is it just that it was a long few days so of course he's looking tired. I've definitely seen and heard a difference in Adam Era #2. He has matured so much since the boy on Idol quitting his "day job" for a chance at the brass ring. The experiences, changes and challenges he has dealt with couldn't help but affect him. So pleased to see that the accumulative effect is so positive. It has broken and even destroyed so many other performers who have shot into the glare of a world-wide spotlight. But Adam has only grown stronger, more confident, and more grounded. In his recent interviews he seems to have .... more depth, more weight, more presence than ever before. It is almost like this last year he was in a chrysalis, incubating and slowly changing from the immature form to the glorious mature butterfly now spreading his wings in a stately manner, ready to soar. He went from chorus boy in the back, to reality TV star, to outrageous freak, to amazing performer, and now to mature artist of depth and scope and vision. Whether Adam becomes "the next Gaga", a pop star with 5 chart-topping singles from the album, with a massive global audience of hip young people doesn't matter. Adam has arrived. Adam has become so much more. And I expect him to continue to evolve. Isn't it marvelous that some of us were there to witness it all from "mama"?

I know exactly what you mean about the difference in Adam. My explanation is with the pre-release interviews it really was all new to him, he had the child-like enthusiasm and excitement. After the AMAs he was really putting his best foot forward and being himself, but also being aware of making a good impression. I remember when Jessie Cruickshank (SP?) had the split pants problem, Adam was laughing, but he kept looking to the side, probably at Lane to gauge what his response should be or how it was perceived. That happened in a few interviews at the time, like, "Is this okay?" Now, I get the feeling Adam has gained confidence ( although I think there's still anxiety and trepidation that no matter what he does he'll still be thought of as an outsider) from the tour, the people who lined up to work on Trespassing, and the reviews it's getting. He's older, wiser, knows that he can't please everyone but is trying to please himself and those who matter. And most of all, I think he really believes in this album and what it has to say. Our boy is growing up. Yes, I do think that Adam is more mature now, as in more aware of his role in the public eye. Funny, I used to say back in the days before Idol even ended (or maybe when it just did) and I was still posting on EW (don't think I knew about MJ's yet) that Adam could give tutorials to politicians on media savvy. He is such a freaking natural. And the fact that his social intelligence (ability to pick up cues, relate to people at their level, mirror body language, put anyone at ease, modify his slang and speaking patterns to match whomever he's talking to, etc., etc.) is off the charts, that doesn't hurt. I thought he was insanely good then and still do. He may be a little more in command now. I think that comes with experience and the fact that this is HIS press junket. He knows these people have stood in line for the opportunity to interview him and he feels that. He is the host in this situation, to a degree. But yes, I think this year off of most of this has given him the chance to reflect and understand how it all works and as he said (which I love, because I've always believed this) we're always evolving. I think he evolves at faster rate than most because of his high emotional intelligence. He's such a quick study that he observes, analyzes and internalizes situations so fast that we can see him changing from on day to the next. (Case in point: Leno to Ellen performance ... though I loved both, his level of comfort seemed to have progressed weeks in a matter of hours.)

So based on these two tweets...
@tommyjoeratlifftommyjoe Ratliff Rehearsing in the room next to Marilyn Manson's band today was pretty bad ass. But, not as bad ass as running into @iamstevent though! : ) 11 minutes ago
@kevmokeyskevin Hastings I literally just ran into Steven Tyler!! 2 hours ago via Twitter for iPhone
It looks like the band rehearsed today. So I'm guessing that they're going to Europe with Adam, at least for Austria.

And I would think Adam would need Tommy for the acoustic shows. I hope they all get to go though!
