I had seen the Dubai pics and wondered what they were about. I guess it makes a bit more sense now, he only has about a 5 hours flight instead of a 25 hours flight before he performs. His comment was a bit misleading, though. Maybe it's home after that, only another 25-28 hour flight. He has to be brain fried at this point.
I am a bit surprised he is performing in Duba (if that's actually what his destination is) since homosexuality is against the law there. Hoping there will be some kind of understanding or protection in his case.

I doubt he would have much of a career if he avoided all places that had laws against homosexuality. But he is going there just to perform (if that is the case) and not to break the law so as long as he is protected and not in a hostile situation he should be fine. But understand the concern. |

When I had looked up flight connections from LA to the Maledives (in case Oliver was traveling there), the connection via Dubai had been one option. So Dubai is possibly just a layover. |
