I have this sudden need to put sweet potato fries in my freezer. LOL...I have a sweet potato in my fridge...does that count? hahaha. Also...Charles is so unpopular...I bet the brits would vote for Randy Andy over Charles if they could .... and that is not a good thing!!! Not sure why you feel Charles is so unpopular…I would say quite the opposite. The popularity of both Charles and Camilla seems to have soared in recent years. As for Brits preferring Andrew to Charles…Andrew is generally reviled and rightfully so, I believe. I don’t know anyone who has any liking or sympathy for him.

Adam has performed in Dubai before. I doubt he would have much of a career if he avoided all places that had laws against homosexuality. But he is going there just to perform and not break the law so as long as he is protected and not in a hostile situation he should be fine. When I had looked up flight connections from LA to the Maledives (in case Oliver was traveling there), the connection via Dubai had been one option. So Dubai is possibly just a layover. Maybe just a layover, it is all supposition. But if they are actually headed to Dubai, I hope Adam is in and out of there quickly. Open homosexuality is illegal. Who knows if the fact that it is know he is gay is considered open homosexuality. You never know what charges someone can come up with. I guess I am just jaded, I don't trust people.

Potz‘ picture from the airport lounge/waiting area in Dubai doesn’t look to me as if that’s their destination. They’re waiting for a connecting flight, IMO. twitter.com/4gelly/status/1635689511995813902?s=46&t=FRhvVbs9OZwKJqMgTXKbcw

Of course, Russia is off the table for everyone now but he did perform at that time. The religious zealots who tried to stop his performance in Malaysia but the government gave him the okay. And he performed in front of 17K happy fans. The religious nuts in the US who helped get the petition going in Singapore to get him kicked off his headlining NYE performance (tho he had already performed in Singapore many times). They did not succeed and Adam performed successfully in front of 10K plus on tv. And when Adam first performed in the Ukraine with Queen, the tv announcer thanked Adam for coming because he said they had not always treated the LGBT community fairly or something like that. And when Adam first went to China (before QAL) he was interviewed on state tv and some said that was a first for a gay artist. When he performed in Dubai, we did not hear of any problems or protests but he was well known. All of those incidents caused us so much concern. But I think Adam is a role model and gives hopes to those is countries where homosexuality is against the law or is frowned upon. But I think he and his team would make his security a priority before allowing him to go.
