I would wait. Vivid seats may have inflated prices. However, I have read that the pricing of platinum seats is flexible. The more people that click the higher the price goes. I won’t pay that price either. Brian May lives in a bubble if he thinks the prices are affordable. Such a scam. This will be a special gift for someone and so I hope I am able to purchase. I also don’t like the hype of everybody wait until this time and this date and a count down to the second. It just gets people hyper and crashes the system when everyone tries to get in at the same time. P!nk is at the garden on 11/5 and her tickets are already on sale. The hype is just bad. Brian is probably talking about regular tickets, no VIP or platinum. The regular tickets had been something between $50 and $150 for the last US tour in 2019. Also, Brian is British. And the ticket prices in the UK are nothing like in the US. For instance you just buy a General Admission ticket for the floor for £90, get there at 5pm and can make it to the front row.

I don’t believe Brian is that nieve (sp?) he is a very astute businessman, as they all are, I’m sure. If what I read is correct, the lowest price in MSG in NYC is approx $350. The fact that the platinum is “flexible”:is ridiculous. In NY Queen is not affordable for the average fan. Yes, the city has everything, if you can afford it. astute businessman, as are they all, I’m sure.

Stop looking at these unofficial ticket sites. They don’t even have tickets, yet. They don’t know, what the original prices will be. These are just phantasy prices made up by scammers. Also, most of the seats won’t be platinum or VIP seats.

FYI: The regular prices for QAL tickets haven’t been announced, yet. I‘ve read in the Official International Queen Fanclub that the prices will range between $60 and $250. I can’t tell, if that’s true, but it sounds very reasonable in comparison to the regular prices in 2019.
Everything that you see now on other ticket sites are made up prices by scalpers. Don’t look there and more important: Don’t buy there! They are only resellers. They don’t have the tickets (yet?). It can easily happen, that they won’t be able to buy the tickets that they offer now. If you buy these, you won’t get the tickets you ordered. You might get a lower category of tickets or none at all or whatever. In any case, you will pay much more than the original price.
I know, it’s easy to say, but stay calm in all the ticket frenzy.

I wasn’t looking at other ticket sites I was searching with someone on MSG directly. I have no intention of purchasing from anything except Ticketmaster. The ticket frenzy (I feel), is being brought on by the method in which this is being done. Let’s just hope all that want can get.

The last QAL tour I purchased from Vivid but that was because I bought them late as I'm never sure if I am going when they first go on sale. I paid $300 plus fees per ticket and that wasn't bad at all but I don't live anywhere near NY or the North as I know those prices are way higher. I had good seats. The first row not on the floor (I would never want seats on the floor anyway). But even with my good prices, about two weeks later the same seating area they went up an additional $100 cause I needed to get a third ticker for someone. It was sorta hit or miss. I don't know what the prices were if I had bought them earlier as I don't go looking until I am ready, lol. But the venue was full at 17K.

Another questIon, that I‘ve been asking myself: Do you believe, that the concerts will be fast sell-outs?
I‘m somehow in doubt. In 2019 - right after the movie -the tickets sold very well. But many venues didn’t sell out until shortly before the day of the concert or the day itself. The tours before that hadn’t been complete sell-outs (apart from a couple of gigs). Sometimes there had been quite a lot of empty seats.
Now, this time it’s the second go-around of the Rhapsody Tour. I doubt, that all fans are willing to go and see that again. It’s not a must-see, so to speak, because it’s more or less an old hat. Although, of course, many fans love that hat. 😉
So, I don‘t really know, what to think. And I‘m not from the US, so I don’t know, how much the tour is advertised. But I can as well imagine, that this tour won’t sell as easy or close as fast as the last one.
What do you guys think?
