I'm not sure it matters how fast they sell as long as they sell before the show. The last tour did very well even if they did not all sell right away. But unlike countries that only get one or a few shows (so they sell out faster), they will not sell out as fast with 25 US shows like before of even 14 shows because there are more choices. Will be interesting to see if they need to add shows in certain parts of the country as they did in the past. I know no states near me ever get a second show added but the arenas are generally full. A lot of fans like to see them more than once so my guess is they will sell. Some fans are already complaining because there are not more shows, lol.

I was at Bridgestone in Nashville for their last show and it was seated. I had a row 2 seat right in front of the B stage. Unfortunately ALL the seats were right in front and side of the B stage - no spacing. So had to look way up the entire concert. Never mind the TALL guy in front of me with his friend show stood for the entire concert and hugged each other. I'm willing to stand for the entire concert and have every time, but my point was no space between the stage on any side and the first row/ Generally 5 or 6 feet space which makes viewing a little easier.

Another questIon, that I‘ve been asking myself: Do you believe, that the concerts will be fast sell-outs? I‘m somehow in doubt. In 2019 - right after the movie -the tickets sold very well. But many venues didn’t sell out until shortly before the day of the concert or the day itself. The tours before that hadn’t been complete sell-outs (apart from a couple of gigs). Sometimes there had been quite a lot of empty seats. Now, this time it’s the second go-around of the Rhapsody Tour. I doubt, that all fans are willing to go and see that again. It’s not a must-see, so to speak, because it’s more or less an old hat. Although, of course, many fans love that hat. 😉 So, I don‘t really know, what to think. And I‘m not from the US, so I don’t know, how much the tour is advertised. But I can as well imagine, that this tour won’t sell as easy or close as fast as the last one. What do you guys think? I am actually hoping, and in the interview they all seemed to indicate, that they might change some things. I have never seen them in person, so for me, it is not old hat. People want to hear their favorite, Roger was correct. If Adam did not sing Show Must Go On, I would be unhappy. I think it is the same as an opera or a theatre production. Many people go over and over again to see exactly the same thing, with the same dialog. I am in NYC so MSG is my option. I see that for music concerts their capacity is 20,000. I thought that was a bit small, but maybe I am just used to seeing numbers from stadiums. You can get easily into NYC by plane, train, car, bus. I have seen where people from other states are planning to travel so I think they will sell out, and I think the "good" seats will go because those that can, will purchase them.

I think 14 tour stops “only” may be in parts caution to see how well QAL sells this time around, which is 4 years after the last North American tour. The Rhapsody novelty may have worn off a bit but on the other hand people are excited and more inclined to go to concerts again. I doubt that the venues will sell out right away though.

I wrote this in answer to momtomany asking me about QAL vs. Pink at the Chase Center in San Francisco, but it appears relevant to the discussion here today:
I think it's really difficult to know how this will go. Pink priced her tickets fairly high, but QAL could be close or just as high (I think we will know more by checking the earlier venues that morning at 7 and 8 am). QAL have a lot less total concerts than Pink so I think demand could be higher, but I'm not sure. Pink is doing a stadium tour before she begins her Arena tour - so she's got lots of options for fans.
Pink added a 2nd show in SF so that has made more tickets available also. I just pulled up her Saturday night (the first show announced) - if you exclude platinum and resale tickets, nothing is left except behind the stage. There are lots of platinum (damn Ticketmaster greediness) and lots of resales (which QAL is trying to avoid). I pulled up Sunday night (the show she added which is when I'm going) and there are still a lot of VIP tickets on the floor near the thrust, but they cost $819 plus fees, which is impossible for most people. I would probably spend that for QAL, and I'm sure Pink sold plenty of those to her mega fans - it's the ones about 7 seats away from the runway that are still available for Sunday, but none of those available for Saturday..
Since her tour allows transfers and resales, probably a lot of scalping going on - and I see there are a lot of resales. I have bought and transferred 6 tickets for Pink to friends.
I am quite curious to see if this "no transfer" thing actually stops the scalpers. I do also wonder if Ticketmaster is in cahoots with other sellers (like Stubhub and Vivid) and still gives them a portion of tickets to inflate - just don't trust those Ticketmaster f***ers.....
I see that at least one venue has stated that tickets won't appear in your phone until 72 hours before the show - this seems another way to limit transfers (you can't have someone log into your account and move a ticket into their wallet until 72 hours before) - wonder if all venues will do this.
It will be very interesting to see what happens Friday, I just hope I get the tickets I want for me and my friends.

I am guessing this is the same as a re-sale. So if you are forced to buy a ticket now, to get it and a month or two or three down the road you find you cannot go, does this mean you don't have the ticket to try to re-sell? Even on on a face-value ticketmaster site? I agree, I don't trust them. It is one huge monopoly that should be dis-banded.
