I haven't read the actual bill, Lurleene, but it says something about men wearing makeup in public. That covers a lot of ground, not just drag queens. A lot of men wear makeup, gay or straight. Their own hero wear pounds of orange makeup...will that include him? It's altogether ridiculous and I doubt that it can be enforced. What's next...women not allowed to wear pants in public, because then we're defined as drag queens too? I doubt these laws will survive any lawsuits. And nobody was implying Adam is wearing makeup to pass as female, or perform as a female.I'm not that familiar with the bill either but what I read seemed to be about performing as a female wearing female clothes and wearing makeup in public in front of kids. Maybe I misread and got it wrong but I did not get the impression that they were going after wearing makeup without the performing as a woman part. Then why did anyone think this Texas rule applies to Adam? I'm confused. But I hope it doesn't put him at risk in Texas. I did not read the bill either, but was responding to the MusicTramp tweet/instagram about men not be allowed to wear makeup in public. I don't think it would apply to Adam in performance mode. I don't actually think they would do anything to anyone famous at all with make-up. Although, it is a slippery slope. I would love to hear from someone who could decipher the actual legaleze and let us know (if interested) what it actually means.

Texas is going nuts. Period.
On a happier note, my wonderful, patient, and dear friend and Adam fan and concert ticker buyer for us, just got tickets for the first Chicago show on Oct. 30. So, "sold out" does not always mean "sold out." The tickets keep showing up as the weeks go on. Don't give up, Glamberts! I am SO excited to be going!

Can't figure out how to vote here. I can select Adam, but I don't see any other place to actually enter what you chose

Three days ago my daughter asked out of the blue "Can we go to an Adam concert?" I explained that QAL is touring this fall, but not coming to Vancouver. Then I started doing math... So we are going to the second QAL San Francisco show on Nov 9th, combining it with some sight-seeing. The TicketBastard experience was acceptable, except I clicked 3 seats for $60 each in the section I wanted, but the page had the Platinum option selected by default and tried to sell me $1200 worth of tickets in the checkout. I had to go back and click a pre-selected option which ended up being around $100 each, but in a better location. CAD 409 after all fees and taxes. I did some envelope breathing during the queueing, and got pulse readings of 75 before, and 77 after the purchase, so I guess it went rather well. It was harder to get Expedia to give me reasonable flights, but I ended up under my budget of CAD 2000 for 3 people for 3 nights downtown (half a mile from the arena), direct flights, and concert tickets. My daughter who had no idea what I was up to did a "floss dance" in the living room once I told her the outcome! Congratulations! Your daughter is so lucky! My brother and SIL tried last week for Boston tickets with no luck. They didn’t even try today for the second show, but will check on resale tickets closer to the date. I hope they can find something. I live vicariously through everyone else, haha.
