Can't figure out how to vote here. I can select Adam, but I don't see any other place to actually enter what you chose You have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the list of songs and you'll see the blue 'submit' button there.

At about 1:20, the iHeart person says QAL will be doing "23 more [shows], at least". There are only 22 shows currently scheduled. Does that mean another is yet to be announced? I've wondered why there is a 4 day gap between the Philly & Atlanta shows. Also, wasn't this interview recorded before the additional 8 shows were added?

I’ve posted a tweet with the Texas bill text a day ago(?). Read it. In general “the land of freedom” in the southern states is becoming a pure fascist country very quickly. having guns is the only thing they care about it seems. Scary… I thought I had seen it here, but could not find it. Maybe I was searching the wrong day, I will have to look again.

Scary… I would ask you to kindly refrain from stereotyping “the Southern” states as being a place where “having guns is the *only* thing they care about, it seems”. I am truly at a loss here….The South is comprised of millions of people with a diversity of beliefs about a huge variety of issues. We also offer a variety of cultural, educational, and other activities that do not involve target practice.

What you say may very well be true but in all fairness the leaders who the majority of the people voted for seem to be more focused on having guns, taking away women’s rights, denying trans people health care and banning books in libraries. Those are just the the facts.

While I did not take offense to the comment because some of the things happening in some states is frightening, I understand where phronni7 is coming from. We have a mixed bag in my state (the South) and so far we are holding the line and beating back any attempt to follow some of the other states. They would if they could but we have voted in enough representation to block them when they try. And I think some are scared enough about what is happening is some states to hopefully vote more of them out now that they have proved that moderation was just a ruse to get in.

Three days ago my daughter asked out of the blue "Can we go to an Adam concert?" I explained that QAL is touring this fall, but not coming to Vancouver. Then I started doing math... So we are going to the second QAL San Francisco show on Nov 9th, combining it with some sight-seeing. The TicketBastard experience was acceptable, except I clicked 3 seats for $60 each in the section I wanted, but the page had the Platinum option selected by default and tried to sell me $1200 worth of tickets in the checkout. I had to go back and click a pre-selected option which ended up being around $100 each, but in a better location. CAD 409 after all fees and taxes. I did some envelope breathing during the queueing, and got pulse readings of 75 before, and 77 after the purchase, so I guess it went rather well. It was harder to get Expedia to give me reasonable flights, but I ended up under my budget of CAD 2000 for 3 people for 3 nights downtown (half a mile from the arena), direct flights, and concert tickets. My daughter who had no idea what I was up to did a "floss dance" in the living room once I told her the outcome! Wow! You must be Superdad now!!
