Question:
How high are our chances to significantly move the movers and shakers statistic on Amazon, if we would place our pre-sales orders for the deluxe album over the next 48 hours?
Are a couple of hundred orders enough to move that counter significantly or is this not worth it?
I was holding back with my pre-sale order for this Sunday, but now with so much else being planned, I am not sure there would be enough people joining in.
But anyhow, if you were planning to do a pre-order on Amazon anyhow, perhaps it would be nice to do it within the next 48 hours. Perhaps it makes a difference.

SO HOW SHOULD WE DO THIS? A TWEET GOES OUT 12:01 AM ON THE 29TH "BUY BTIKM 4 BB'S BD 1/29/12" RETWEET? Repetitive tweets will not trend. A trend that is associated with any commercial promotion (buy...) will be pulled. A short hashtag is the best way to organize fans. Including @adamlambert in the Tweet will make it much harder to Trend because of the Bieber-Lambert rule. #Happy30Adam might work as a hashtag. Every tweet needs to be different. My suggestion is to vary the Tweets --- requesting that stations play BTIKM could be one tweet -- @q102 Please play @adamlambert BTIKM for his birthday #Happy30Adam The next Tweet could be related to buying BTIKM -- Celebrate @adamlambert birthday by buying BTIKM @happy30adam

Question - what does it mean when your local hac station played a few test spins of BTIKM back in December, hasn't added it yet, hasn't played it since...but has suddenly started playmg iihy and wwfm in semi regular rotation?? Is too much to hope for that they're warming up their listeners before they add the song? Or does this mean they're never going to add it? I can't think of any other options so who knows. Hopefully option one, remind the listeners of the past, then throw the new one out there. You wouldn't think a HAC would be waiting for Cuckoo like some of the top40 ones.

Oh, crap! I just saw that there's a boycott being planned for tomorrow called Twitter Blackout. People are being urged to avoid Twitter to protest Twitter's plan to start censoring tweets on a country-by-country basis. I'm all for social justice or whatever, but can't they wait until after Adam's birthday is over? Well--we'll have to see how widespread it is, and we still have Sunday to tweet birthday greetings if we have to. Twitter Boycott PlannedWhy don't we do the Adam Birthday event on the US 29th. That avoids the issue.

A lot of HAC stations add songs after they have been added by Top 40 stations -- particularly in markets where the HAC station is owned by a company that also owns a Top 40 station. Clear Channel, Cumulus and CBS coordination playlists by format within markets. So the Top 40 station gets a track for 30 days then the HAC station can play it, too. And HAC stations played Kay Perry's Bonnie McKee songs. So they could easily be all over Cuckoo.

just browsing through... noticed a lot of new names... Adamtopia is growing... lots of really creative names... enjoying myself... So there is such a thing as National Chocolate Cake day ? I am on a restricted diet, but I am allowed 35 g choco bar a day but it has to be 70% chocolate ... it's my daily indulgence... aside from peeking into Adamtopia.... sigh.. haven't had chocolate cake for a long time..... Thanks all - for enjoying my wacky creations and for putting it at the BannerBTIKM MV : Behind the scenes ...... such a tease.... like the look of the white shirted Adam though.... everything on that brief clip looks monochromatic.... here is some color .... I'll use it on Sunday. #Happy30Adam

A few weeks back someone here recommended a program that they used for converting video files to animated gif files. I'm tired of manually making my own gifs by capturing individual shots so I saved the name of the program so I could research it after I finished catching up on that day's thread Well, I put the link away so carefully that now I can't find it. : Does anyone remember the program's name or what thread it was in? Thanks.
