Well, the ultimate (current) wgwg is englisch, Just to Point that Out and that "Genre" certainly has IT's legitimacy doesnt mean IT has to be everyones taste. I guess There' a myriad of reasons why they win so often.
Very cool that Adam got to do two Performances on Idol! I'm looking Forward to that colab Song soon!

So, I guess the new American Idol will again be country. Iam may not actually be country, but close enough. I was kind of hoping for We Ani. But, I knew she wouldn't win. Not the type, although phenomenal. I hope she has a record deal. Kind of reminds me of Adam's year. I liked We as well and she was certainly the best but I too knew she could not win. Tho Iam looks like the frontrunner and could win, he is native Hawaiian and does not sing country music so I will still be surprised if he beats out the young country/rock singer from the South and the female Christian singer.

Don’t watch Idol (except Adam’s bits) but just looked up final three just to see who they are. Looks like Iam gets at least four times the number of views that the others get every week. (Approx). I imagine if that translates into votes the winner could be predicted almost from the first week which takes a lot of the surprise and tension out of the competition. Wish we could have seen Adam’s views back…might have made me less anxious for him every week.

Well, from what I'm reading, you start voting now before they even start singing, which seems ridiculous...basically makes the entire show a popularity contest and has nothing to do with talent.

Well, from what I'm reading, you start voting now before they even start singing, which seems ridiculous...basically makes the entire show a popularity contest and has nothing to do with talent. But they’ve seen the contestants sing throughout the season. People have probably decided by now who they think should win.

Well, from what I'm reading, you start voting now before they even start singing, which seems ridiculous...basically makes the entire show a popularity contest and has nothing to do with talent. You can vote from the start of the show but you can also change your vote at any time until the end. Unfortunately, most voters don't care about the talent. There is no way the string or similar WGWG winners, going back to the FOX years, were the most talented. You hardly even hear about any of them now outside some small gig they are doing. Sorta surprised that this 18 year old Hawaiian kid has been so far ahead. I had to laugh when Adam mentored him. He told Adam that it was hard to see his friends leave the show and asked how Adam handled loosing his friends. Adam boldly said, I had my eyes on the prize and I wasn't there to make friends then he laughed. That was so Adam but it cracked the kid up and he got such a kick out of Adam, lol.

Yeah, I don't get the love for the Hawaiian kid, but apparently everybody else does lol. I don't ever seem to be in step with the majority of anything, but that's ok. Variety makes the world go 'round.

lurleene, that comment Adam made, "I wasn't there to make friends," says volumes about his professional focus and his knowledge about what it takes to make it once the show is over. Adam knew this from the get-go. He has plenty of friends. His fellow contestants were not in that group, although he got along with everyone on the show. Adam knew what was at stake and that it was going to take lots of work. Plenty of winners on AI have not gone on to be huge stars (although some have had decent success.) It's not the winning. It's what you do after winning that counts. Voting for your favorite Idol is easy. Supporting who you voted for after the show is over takes effort, and that's when it really counts. We Glamberts know how important that is. We've been doing it for years.

Did you notice that celebritynetworth.com now has Adam listed as having a net worth of $45 million.
