Just saw Alisha Keys is writing a musical about her hometown. Heard somewhere Kellt Clarkson is writing a musical. Then there is Adam who has been writing for the last couple of years. So, is this the new wave. Singers writing muscials? Or, did they all hear about Adam and think it was a good idea?? LOL

There have been quite a few musicals written by pop stars including Sting, Cindy Lauper, Elton John just to name a few. So I don’t think it’s a new thing.
