1.29.12 Q-Snowcase Thread

Ok, my thoughts.
Audience was a tough crowd, but keep in mind this was a #showcase# for people who maybe didn't even know who he was before (or they knew WWFM at that was it). So couldn't expect a super friendly crowd. You do this to gain people over, and hopefully Adam did.
I thought Adam was definitely a little uncomfortable up there. He is a very intuitive and empathetic person and I am sure he picked up on the atmosphere of the room, just like we did. I thought you could see he was not 100% in his element because he didn't make a lot of small talk between songs, and put in a joke or two like he usually does; he was also anal about getting the sound right and giving multiple orders (it's possible the sound in the room was a little off, which we didn't hear on the stream, and we know Adam is a perfectionist); he kept taking sips from his cup of tea, which is a common non-verbal when people are uncomfortable.
That being said, his voice was amazing. I am not objective enough to think what it would have been if I had heard him for the first time, but BTIKM and OOL gave me goose bumps. Then the stream went to hell. mpfgh. But what we heard was really nice.
