My guess is that the management didn't want the acoustic version to get out. For a song that's supposed to be funky and futuristic, you can't really capture that with acoustic. So, maybe they didn't want a less-than-fantastic version of a fantastic song to leak before the real thing. Who knows. Then perhaps this one shouldn't have been on today's play list? It had to be though. This is not a random audience, this is a showcase for radio people. He needs to showcase his new album. He can't do that with just one song (BTIKM) that isn't even the most representative. He HAD to include another new song IMO. On the other hand, I agree with people who said that there is still a lot to go before the album, and Adam cannot afford a less than perfect version of a song to get out there. It would be ALL OVER the internet, and people would start making opinions based on an acoustic version, that does not represent the song perfectly. And then they would have difficulty marketing the produced, final, real version to radio. So it's a hard place to be in, but I totally understand their reasoning. This was just done poorly on the part of the streamers/radio stations, who messed it up. I am frustrated too, but on this one I actually can't blame Adam or his team.

Did anyone else notice that Adam's voice sounded a bit hoarse? Did he catch a cold on that mountain? (ya... motherly feelings are taking over... :-[) Well he kept drinking his tea (I'm assuming tea or something good for his throat) before he sang each song. He's probably exhausted from the long trip, is in a totally different climate to shock his system, and probably didn't get much sleep with the time difference. I think he sounded good and I'm amazed how he could even stand up after traveling and having to perform the next day. The man's beautiful and the album can't get out soon enough for me! And I think Trespassing/the song is going to really be 'bad ass great'!

It's interesting how since it hasn't been release yet we're trespassing onto Trespassing

He did the songs I originally thought he would: OOL and Trespassing. I'm happy about it. Broken English is a song I want him to sing first time live when Sauli is in the audience too. And the audience didn't deserve Cuckoo or Underneath. Kickin In would have had been too random. So yeah, that went well. How long will he be on Europe?
