Yeah, I guess I'm just confused at the whole acoustic thing. The album is being marketed as futuristic pop, production-wise. How are they going to give radio personnel an idea of this by stripping the songs to melody and lyrics? Plus, he really downplayed the vocals on BTIKM until the very end. I just think the whole set sounded dreary. This is not my usual opinion, which is why I'm a bit disappointed. I'm just hoping this whole Europe promo tour isn't done acoustically, but I'm guessing it will be. Doing showcases with full production would be prohibitively expensive. You would need to fly over not only the full band, but also sound technicians, specific instruments, etc. It would be like putting on a little tour. That's not financially feasible. All artists do acoustic showcases when first playing their music to radio stations: google Lady Gaga and Let's Dance acoustic or something like that and you'll see she went from radio station to radio station just with a keyboard. |

Lurved it and was ever so grateful for what we got  I really liked this version of BTIKM betterer. OOL was gorgeous. Trespassing is  def need to hear whole thing. OK, being down the rabbit hole (again) has cost me a big chunk of my morning and I actually have a RL print deadline looming. Have to, have to, have to drag myself away from the fun *pouts* Have fun peeps - will catch up with all the flail later. |

Regardless of the who and the what of the tech fail we got a new Adam song and I loved it!!! I prefer uptempo so was THRILLED to hear what I hear of Trespassing!! Me too!!!!  |

SRSLY. I may totally sound entitled here but if the management thing is true I am hella pissed. I mean it's OKAY to let one effin song get out there? I mean it helps build buzz. And these promoters knew fans would be watching this fucking stream and then they just fuck it all up? Srsly. Maybe I am just so pissed because I wanted to hear some NEW SHIT. I mean he sounded lovely and perfect and everything, but if I wanted to hear those songs I woulda just went on youtube not wasted all this time SITTING THROUGH RACOONS AND AWKWARD WHITE PEOPLE WITH A FUCKIN MIGRAINE only to get majorly cock blocked. Good lord. CHUNKEY RAGE CHUNKEY SMASH!!! LOLOLOL. Srsly tho, it's fine if another song gets out Adam. Srsly. God damnit loosen those chains a bit. I can completely understand them not wanting an acoustic version of Trespassing out there. The track is supposed to be very techno and sexy and dancey. They don't want the song "misrepressented" like when Claude's demo of BTIKM was on You Tube. Of course, Adam could have chosen a different song. But he probably wanted to do something fast. So, he remembered those Trespassing, fast and crazy words, but forgot WWFM?! Gotta love him!  |

Can you say "ass" on the radio? Random I know, but we will here those songs soon enough and i am not going to angst too much about it. You can, in Europe  They'll have to beep it in the US. I liked this version of BTIKM a lot, but I think Adam was off key in the first verse. I also liked OOL a lot. I missed most of WWFM, need to find it online. Fever has never been one of my favorites. But a nice mix of 2 slower song and 2 uptempo songs. |

WOW!! 'Trespassing' is fucking unbelievable!!! So many words!!! How did Adam remember what we heard????? I am so all over, around, on top and inside this album! Oh - - why wasn't I there at Zell am See or whatever it's called for this performance??? It was close, it was fabulous, and those people were milling about . . . oh, Adam, Adam, Adam! He kept on . . . So will we all. Onto the next promo. You know what I think? I think Adam has achieved something very rare. A true belief in himself. What beautiful words. I agree. I am so excited and proud for him I can't stand it.  |
