Yo, dog! Watchin' the vids of of Adam's promo gig, I haven't seen so many plaid shirts since... well, I don't know when.  Hey! At least they were clapping along to Trespassing and at the end of performances ;D ;D ;D ETA. I am soooooo stuck on BTIKM and Trespassing performances. Luv them!!!!!! |

This may have been discussed, I did not get back from my trip until late, but the drum that Isaac is playing is called a cajon drum. I had never heard of it so I looked it up. Although I did not find his exact drum, here is a YT showing its capability.
and I thought he was just sitting on a box. LOL.

OMG, I have no words to express how much I am loving everything we are hearing off this album! OOL was amazing! I got actual chills when he sang "hell" in full voice (or whatever that is called.) I have never gotten actual chills from a recording before! I can't even imagine what that must have felt like live!
And I just wanted to give a quick thank you to Cassie and all the others who provide us with so much musical information and help me understand why I'm having the reactions I'm having. I really appreciate it!

Yo, dog! Watchin' the vids of of Adam's promo gig, I haven't seen so many plaid shirts since... well, I don't know when. Ignore the plaid! Get to the Man in Black--what did you think of the songs? Did ya like Kev's keyboard skills/background vocals? Tommy's guitar? Isaac's drums? Yet a 4th version of BTIKM? The stream was pretty crappy for me (cut in and out so much was nearly worthless--but I heard some beautiful notes...) Just re-listened to everything a few times and I LOVED IT! EVERY BIT! ;D And the crowd? They were way more into Adam than they were the Racoons (who I really liked)--hell, they barely moved when the DJ played Aretha! They seemed quietly into Adam and showed appreciation--and frankly, I appreciated no wavy arms or screaming to distract me from the voice today! I was frustrated as hell at #TrespassingInterruptus, but am REALLY fine with not hearing the title song of his album two months early! I DID HEAR ENOUGH TO KNOW IMMA LOVE THE SUCKER! ;D And--as always--I find Adam as fascinating to WATCH as he is to LISTEN TO. so.....  And please let us get video of more performances on this promo tour! They are only going to get tighter and better this trip! |
