I left a quick comment on the other thread but I don't think anyones there any more so I'll say it again here. Adam was magnificent today! Just shows again how amazing he is. OOL for me was mezmerizing. The way he sang it was even more heartfelt and melodic than in Canada. The quiet moments just floored me and brought tears to my eyes.

Adam sang OOL with so much deep inner feeling I felt it all through my body. And seeing the pain in Adam's face as he sang just torn at my heart. I had tears too.

Busy weekend, so I am just catching up now. What Adam is able to do acoustically is just amazing. I am loving everything!
And Trespassing is officially the track I am most excited about hearing. Even from the brief seconds we got here you can just tell the song is going to be epic.

Can't stop listening to the snowcase performances. I have heard him sing so many countless times, the thing I need to do is try to listen with new ears. As if I had never heard the song, or him, before. No expectations --- let it be a new experience, because we know he is always changing things up.
So, I listened, imagining myself in that audience listening for the first time to this guy who I've been told is some hot new star from America. The band takes the stage. Hmmm. Looks like a couple of cool metal rocker dudes, some little guy sitting on a box, and a striking looking singer who has a slightly Elvis look. Not sure what to expect from this.
First song, Fever. Cool! Acoustic funk! With some blues thrown in. And, whoa! that singer dude has some serious pipes. What was that note? They got their groove on --- with just an acoustic set up. Lada Gaga wrote a funk song? Huh!
Second song, BTIKM. Pretty piano. Sweet, soft ballad. Not at all groovy or funky. This is his new single? ..... Oh, wait, its more soft rock. Guy has a very nice voice; soft and sweet then powering up...... Man, this dude can wail. Whew! And he says the studio single has a driving beat? Wonder what that sounds like?
Third song: Outlaws of Love. Slow, plaintive ballad. This guy has a seriously great voice! I'm thinking he's had some formal maybe even classical training to be able to sing like that, soft to powerful, low to high. Not a rocker voice. Not a pop voice. And here, not a blues voice. Guy seems versatile. What kind of music is he known for???
Fourth song: WWFM. Hey, I know this one. I've heard it a lot on the radio. Pop song. But he wails on it much more than the way I heard it on the radio. He's THAT guy?
Last song: Trespassing. Get down!! Great rhythm. Vocals pop. Funk plus rock plus reggae? Makes me want to MOVE!
Adam Lambert, huh? Dude can sing his face off. This album should be interesting. So many different styles. I'm gonna have to check it out!

Cassie, I'm winding down for sleep now--listening to a special birthday program for Adam on @wise_Radio www.live365.com/index.liveBUT...I just have to say I have so little time anymore, I hardly post anything thoughtful, profound, or dare I say even slightly intelligent, lol--mostly just squee and run--but I really DO appreciate your thoughtful posts. Today, I especially liked the one about people simply having to become acclimated to his fine voice/learn how fantastic or out-of-the-ordinary it really is. I just do not believe that the people in that room today could have left unimpressed by his voice! No matter what they're used to or how much of a tin ear they might have, I'll bet he impressed! ETA: Doesn't necessarily mean they left fans, though-- because appreciation of music/styles is so objective. But that voice--especially LIVE--just cannot be denied!
