I can feel it happening with me, and I am someone who actually likes the single. This is something that has bothered me for a while now... Why are you all acting like BTIKM is a bad single or something like that? I think it's great and everyone was so excited when it came out. What happened?

Kinda OT, but I've been thinking hard which song does Trespassing resemble? And it has been going in my head all the afternoon. I'm a total amateur talking about the music but after doing some research I came to a conclusion, that this song kinda makes me think of Queens 'Another One Bites The Dust'. Also in Pressparty Review, cited 'It’s an up-tempo cut that’s fuelled by a driving rhythm (solid drum beats and handclaps) and has a stadium rock edge that is strongly reminiscent of Queen.'Don't stone me please. I don't think Adam is not original, just my humble opinion I may be totally wrong in it. BTW, I totally love the song ♥♥

Actually, I woke up in the middle of the night and had a mashup of Trespassing and Barkley's Crazy going on in my head, so I know what you mean. There isn't a song in the world that isn't derivative of something or another, it just isn't possible. /shrug

I have the shame questions becuase I'm looking at the adds so far and it's minimal. I'm getting anxzy...and then I'm hearing all this behind the scenes talk re : tresspassing. Could BTIKM just a filler until album drops to keep Adam in the music scene? I guess it's my Monday morning blues. Just a tad worried BTW I was able to listin into the live broadcast of Adam's set....can this man sing any better...LOVE LOVED the acoustic version of BTIKM and OOL

I love Trespassing so much! And Q3, how do we know the song is begging for a "real dance remix" when we haven't even heard the full production yet? This is "only" the acoustic. People please don't forget about BTIKM. One of the dangers of having the uptempo Trespassing out is that it steals buzz from the single. I can feel it happening with me, and I am someone who actually likes the single. Having said this, I will never understand RCA. I don't know why you wouldn't lead-off the album with something as addictive and uptempo as Trespassing. Plus, it's the title track! The lyrics, the BPM and the staccato pace seems perfect to me for a dance remix. Also a number of people who have heard the produced track wrote the same thing. (Like Lyndsey Parker I think.) (I am assuming that the recorded track was similar tempo to the acoustic performance. I think that is a safe assumption because the handclaps in the performance match the tempo described in the previews>0 Yes, I want radio to play BTIKM NOW!! (please request) But I want Trespassing so I have a work-out Adam track and a really great Adam dance track other than FYE. (FYE is the only Adam track to go Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Club Dance Songs Chart -- it was #2 -- unless I have lost my mind).

I like the song and I think it bridges the gap between WWFM and this new album sound (from what we have been told about it). I have faith in Adam and RCA and I think they made the choice they did after careful consideration. It probably will turn out to be the right decision in the long run. But, Trespassing, IMO, is one of those instantly catching, infectious tunes that really hooks people in. Maybe they want to save that to tie into the album release which I think is pretty smart.

I don't think we're down on BTIKM as such, maybe it's just that we got a big happy surprise in getting another song from the album two months before we expected it. And Trespassing is a KICK. I refuse to worry about BTIKM, as I have learned my lesson (for now, anyway)...excuse me, there's something I have to do to myself...

Q music uploaded BTIKM! - Great Quality! I LOVE this. And who says the audience wasn't into Adam's performance? Most of them are listening! I see their appreciation clearly!

Thanks! I love the numbers thread. My only complaint is-- for some reason I don't get the dings. I want the dings, damn it!
