It's weird because the numbers don't even match. I thought the mix up was that it was supposed to be 3.5K, but how did they get a 35 from 1195??????? ???

Do you guys think it would be a fair guess to say this DVD will probably sell
40,000 worldwide? :D I think that would be amazing!
I want to buy 2 more as gifts for friends who went to concerts with me and decided to save it for this week, to spread out the sales.

I noticed at MJs that Cook's sales numbers were posted also and his individual tracks, to date are around 3,300,000. I think with his popularity and his sales and amount of singles, etc. he is one of the best recent Idols for doing comparisons (of course, he was a winner, not a runner up.) Anyway, I'd say Adam's number for individual tracks is really, really amazing considering Cook's has been out one year longer and the downturn in music that is bought instead of stolen!

individual tracks were sold TW, 3,181,962 to date.

Today is just ALL about win, isn't it!! It's EPIC!!!!

Honestly - I think a lot of those numbers represent compilations of MULTIPLE years. That several acts (ex Beyonce, Celine Dion) have several offerings on one chart make it pretty impossible to think that all of these DVDs were released in a single year. I think this is one of those charts where a release can stay listed for eons.

And - don't forget International sales. I'm pretty certain Adam has already outsold Cook internationally.

I agree that chart can't be for just one year. For instance:

That DVD couldn't have been released last year. I'm sure these numbers are accumulative. Over what period I have no idea.
