I noticed at MJs that Cook's sales numbers were posted also and his individual tracks, to date are around 3,300,000. I think with his popularity and his sales and amount of singles, etc. he is one of the best recent Idols for doing comparisons (of course, he was a winner, not a runner up.) Anyway, I'd say Adam's number for individual tracks is really, really amazing considering Cook's has been out one year longer and the downturn in music that is bought instead of stolen!
Today is just ALL about win, isn't it!! It's EPIC!!!! And - don't forget International sales. I'm pretty certain Adam has already outsold Cook internationally. I agree that chart can't be for just one year. For instance: 6 JACKSON*MICHAEL LIVE IN BUCHAREST 1,538 1,257 22 704,539That DVD couldn't have been released last year. I'm sure these numbers are accumulative. Over what period I have no idea. According to wiki, released in 2005. Still selling in 2010. ETA: Actual concert date was Fall of 1992 !!!! Was taped and originally broadcast for HBO. From Amazon:

I wonder what his album will be like since it has been so long in the making. I will listen before I buy. I think Adam has a lot more potential to hit big because Rock is not selling well. You know if Adam outsells Cook, there will be war on MJs, and it will be because Adam stole his promo money. ;D ;D ;D

I even liked his album. He is really an American idol and would be whether he won or not. Just seems like a wonderful human being. I pre-ordered his album and will definitely go see him in a concert. Not more than once though. I did that 2 years ago, went to 2, and they were pretty much the same so no need to go more than once.

I remember being pretty impressed with U2's debut of that concert because it was a the first concert broadcast live on YouTube worldwide. They released the DVD later but the whole concert was available on YouTube for ages. So it is kind of comparable to the fact that so many of Adam's concerts were available on YouTube as well. Still coming within 3k of a U2 debut is pretty awesome.

Not that I've heard. Waiting for RCAEd to say something. So far all the info has been about FYE or GN Live. All individual track sales have been lumped together today.
