mmyy9 mmyy9 SFW was at #9 on ZM 20 today (March 7) in New Zealand. It probably wasn't in The Edge Top 20 today. 2 hours ago

I never see anyone comment on how consistant WWFM has been on this chart. I believe it has been either 5 or 6 consistantly for ages. Other idol songs have danced all around it but it has simply taken up residence and stayed. Can anyone tell me if this is unusual? Also on the aggregate list that gives total spins for each of the idols Adam has also stayed in the 5 or 6 spot actually only moving down because of Kelly's duet being listed separately from her other songs. I for one think this incredible consistancy is much more impressive then the quick rise and fall that is the usual trajectory of songs on the charts. It speaks of an enormous capacity for longevity.

I think WWFM is a song that will be around forever, like Kelly's Breakaway. It will be played for years on HAC and AC stations.

I've noticed, and have always gratefully chuckled. The chuckle part is because I honestly don't think its *that* great of a song. However, the "Whattya Want From Me?!!!" lament is universal, and I think that's why it has quietly become one of those late-night request mainstays. Lord knows I hear it really frequently when scanning through my local stations at night! With an added bonus that it appears on multiple parts of the dial. Probably at least 6 stations in my listening area have it on in a day. Not in heavy rotation by any means, but steadily there.

It's going to end up being like "Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" or "Pride" is for U2.
