katycake I saw that yesterday. I see that they have now cancelled shows in Indonesia and Taiwan. I seem to remember Adam played a New Year's concert in Malaysia. Weren't people questioning if he should do that? The incident yesterday meant the whole festival was cancelled so that affected a lot of people. I'm not sure if Matty's actions will change minds, but I guess it puts the spotlight on Malaysia's cruel anti-LGBTQ+ laws. However, I see some gay people who live in Malaysia are worried about the attention. Adam performed in Malaysia but it was not New Years. It was part of the Glam Nation tour. It was not fans who wanted him off the show but religious fanatics in Malaysia tried to stop him because of his sexuality. But he met with the government and assured them that he had no agenda and would follow their rules so they allowed him to perform. 17K happy fans were able to watch him and he only had to make sure the dancers were covered a little more and his moves were not overly sexy. HA. Police guarded the stadium to make sure no fanatics harmed him or the fans. Tho they said they said they had no plans to harm him. Adam put on a fantastic show and there were no incidents. Around that same time, Beyonce refused to perform there because she would not agree to dress more modestly and tone down her act. She was much more established than Adam and could afford to disappoint her fans to make a statement. But when Adam performed in Russia, some did not want him to perform because of their attitudes toward the gay community. This was before they really got crazy. Adam felt that he would not be able to perform anywhere if he refused to perform for fans in countries that discriminated against gays. That would apply to the US as well tho not as harsh. Gaga and Madonna performed in Russia before Adam and they said things that got them banned. They quickly got out of the country. There was a bomb threat before Adam performed but after it was ruled safe, he did not do or say anything that would put himself, his band or fans at risk. He was responsible and it was also encouragement and a statement for his fans and the gay community to see him perform. Same with Malaysia. I guess I was thinking of Singapore. I think some group was trying to ban him there!

I think some group was trying to ban him there! HA! Yep Singapore. With the help from some US nuts, there was a petition to try to get him kicked off of his headlining show. They brought up the AMA's as one reason why he was not acceptable. The whole thing was stupid as Adam had already had solo concerts in Singapore several times post AMA's with no problem. When he performed at Formula One concert there as a solo artist, 20K people saw the concert. Daughtry was there also on a different night and he pulled in 10K. So what did they think Adam was going to do that was any different from his other Singapore concerts? Luckily the petition did not succeed and Adam performed for 10K plus more saw him on the tv broadcast. And as Adam said later, no one turned gay because of his concert, lol.

If I were to have concerns for any of Adam's friends, it would be Joey. He has such a soft and sightly sad aura about him. I hope I am wrong as I know nothing about him. Not meant in a critical way at all...just I don't see the smile in his eyes like the others... An air of melancholy. Exactly....

Is that a tattoo of Pharaoh on Oliver's arm or a cat?

Is that a tattoo of Pharaoh on Oliver's arm or a cat? I couldn't really tell...is that from the pic on the first page? It looks almost like a cat to me.

Haha, is Joey wearing a pair of Adam's boots? If I were to have concerns for any of Adam's friends, it would be Joey. He has such a soft and sightly sad aura about him. I hope I am wrong as I know nothing about him. Not meant in a critical way at all...just I don't see the smile in his eyes like the others... Joey…Child tv star that was an adult by the time Adam was on my radar. He was pretty open about not being able to find himself the kind of career(s) he was striving for, as he aged. The implications, and words in his Instagrams have concerned me mannnny times. I was hopeful he would/ could find a career related to his Master’s degree…as that is work…and a lot of energy. The time Adam took him to Hawaii on vacation he literally thanked Adam for the timing as he needed help with his mental health/going through something at the time. He is still on the “ board” for the non- profit, Feel Something Foundation… as announced by Adam, plus it is still indicated on Joey’s IG profile. Adam is a “good friend”. (in many ways)

Not that it's any of my business, but is Joey still with Max? I haven't seen him in a long time.

(in many ways) Being a child star and trying to transition to an adult star is very difficult (if not impossible) even without the added difficulties and roadblocks of being gay.
