Not that it's any of my business, but is Joey still with Max? I haven't seen him in a long time. It appears to me like they are not together. I have looked on Joey and Max’s IGs in the past to find out that question if Joey comes up in Adamtopia. ( creeper that I can be…lol) At present—Max’s account provides only 2017 images of the two of them and one with Adam. There was a post on Joey’s IG with Max indicated as 2019. Both IG accounts have changed over the years. Years of images have been deleted at diff times, and at one point I think Joey was not on Instagram. |

Thanks, Stampsgal, I was just wondering because of Joey's past issues with depression...if he and Max split, that probably wouldn't have helped.
And I agree, Adam is a really good friend.

Joey…Child tv star that was an adult by the time Adam was on my radar. He was pretty open about not being able to find himself the kind of career(s) he was striving for, as he aged. The implications, and words in his Instagrams have concerned me mannnny times. I was hopeful he would/ could find a career related to his Master’s degree…as that is work…and a lot of energy. The time Adam took him to Hawaii on vacation he literally thanked Adam for the timing as he needed help with his mental health/going through something at the time. He is still on the “ board” for the non- profit, Feel Something Foundation… as announced by Adam, plus it is still indicated on Joey’s IG profile. Adam is a “good friend”. (in many ways) Being a child star and trying to transition to an adult star is very difficult (if not impossible) even without the added difficulties and roadblocks of being gay. What did He do as a child? What is he known for? What is Joey's Instagram handle? |

That was my favorite TV series. I don’t remember Joey in it, definitely not a regular. But now I‘m curious… have to look that up. 😁 |

But now I‘m curious… have to look that up. 😁 Okay, he was a guest star and appeared in 2 episodes in 2 different seasons. That’s not much. Actually he was only a guest for 1 episode in all of the shows credited on IMBD. I know it’s very hard and huge competition to get any acting job in the US, so even getting there is a big deal. But in comparison Oliver has about or almost as much acting experience as Joey. |

Not to belabour Joey's friendship with Adam...but final thoughts. I never really investigated the claim Joey was a child tv "star" beyond a few googles... .but looked yesterday to find images of what he looked like as a child. Certainly my fault for assuming he had a more major roles, when he was lamenting his inability to find work in TV/movies as a young adult. I had empathy at the time, but for many aspiring adult actors there can be a lot of "famine". I thought his "artistic/liberal" IG postings of himself and sometimes his boyfriend might not have be helping him professionally, depending on the roles he was seeking. Life decisions needed to be made to make a living. He left LA, returning to the NY area and was renovating a house for someone. He later did some work on his own home. And he worked on his Master's degree. Hoping he is finding paths for himself.
