As someone who is politically liberal, I can see this taking a bad turn with the presidential election nearing. IMO, we should leave SPECIFIC discussions aboout religion and politics off of a fanboard. Those types of things are best left for Twitter or political forums. I say this as someone who would agree with the majority vote around here on politics. IMO, religion and politics are tricky subjects to discuss and we might really offend some fans on this board. That Rolling Stone article broke my heart!

Didn't see anyone post this so sorry if it's a repeat. For those who like to chew on scientific analysis of random stuff - our paper had this article today. Personally makes some sense to me but I don't particularly like how it could be used. It's a British study of what makes a hit song :-) www.latimes.com/news/science/la-sci-hit-songs-computer-20120204,0,1206175.story

Wait, what do you think he means when he says that he has no bs in his bag? I'm lost and feeling a bit slow atm. I believe he means he's not fake, he doesn't pretend to be something, he just IS, real and honest.

The article is good and no-nonsense, I hope someone Finnish translate it, (for me it is too hard to do) so that everyone can read it.

I just saw this on my way out. Don't know if it's been here before www.huliq.com/12092/adam-lambert-shoots-down-queen-lead-singer-storyHollywood Records, Queen's recording label, issued a statement via Rolling Stone: "The Daily Star item only mentions that Adam may perform with Queen at Sonisphere. This is not confirmed. Nothing has been signed. However, if this were to happen, Queen would be returning to the setting of their final concert with Freddie Mercury, which took place in 1986."
Trying to exit again .

I love the pomegranate charm story!! I believe that there is some wonderful, unusual energy that connects Adam and his fans and one fan to another. Being part of this whole exchange has been unlike any experience I have ever been through. I have personally experienced almost countless acts of kindness and grace from other fans, witnessed the same happening to others. It is like being part of a better world than I only imagined could exist -- hence the aspirational name of this forum. Adam's choice of a pomegranate is also extremely interesting. The pomegranate is a powerful symbol, used across cultures around the world. It is used to represent the most fundamental beliefs and desires, including life and death, rebirth and eternal life, fertility and marriage, abundance and prosperity. It was the perfect thing to reflect his concept of dark-light, good-evil, two sides of life. ETA: Today is the first day I could just hang out online in ages!! well a week! Just seems like ages. YAY!!!!!!!!! Glad you're here!
