2.4.12 Adam News and Info

Based on that collected articles yesterday (Adam+Queen) it is seems like a world-wide collaboration dream. The EMA had little coverage and most of them are after the event because it was kept a secret, including Adam until that Bieber band member accidentally sent that tweeter message ;D . Even then we still thought other performers will join Queen until after the set was done. We even thought Gaga will join him.

NOW, I can't imagine if there is an official announcement. If we only collected 50+ (?) articles about a possible collab, how much more will we get if it is official?

A lot of pressure on Adam because it will be covered worldwide, not the actual LIVE performance, but how he will measure up with FM. We, as Adam's fans know how fantastic it would be but haters will find a way to discredit him and do we care? But there will also be new fans and when Adam does his Trespassing Tour I expect these new fans will be curious to see how good he really is, not singing the Queen music, but his own.

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

OK..besides not being able to resist posting this fierce image again..does anyone know who Klaudii_Cookoo is and how this person might know what images from Trespassing will be released?? And why this person is releasing them?? Just curious... ???

Regarding Requests.

Just had an interesting conversation with the local Virgin radio station in Vancouver where I asked why they play the Bruno Mars ballad practically every hour and Adam's new single has only been played twice this week - and one of those times was at 5 am. I was told that when a new song is added they only "sprinkle" it into the mix and then wait for listener response. Requests or high ratings in the surveys decide if it gets played more.
I pointed out that the general public can hardly vote for or rate a song they've virtually never heard, and that's it's the non-stop playing of one-note dreck like Perry's Teenage Dream that MADE those songs popular and made them hits. An unknown artist releasing a song like Teenage Dream would never get it played anywhere.
I asked if what they want then, is for fans of Adam & his song to request. The DJ concurred that at first, the requests DO have to come from us fans - SO - anyone waiting or maybe feeling tired of requesting every day - DON'T STOP now. If the station has added it's crucial to request once a day. I use a mix of Email, phone and text and target different DJs.
Radio play really does help decide how big a song is going to be and if I just want to stress again that as tiresome as requesting is, it matters.
So anyone in the BC area, please let Virgin Radio and The Beat 94.5 know we want to hear Adam's new single.
