QueenAL:Here's DTRH Unplugged. Adam did 5 songs for the VH1 channel in 2009, right after FYE came out. He also did Broken Open, WWFM, Fever, and Mad World THANKS!!! I always wondered how Liam coudl get enough material for a one hour show every week, but of course with Adam delivering a different version at every occasion for each song.... thats not so hard. Love this one!!! |

I think it is over 1 million now if you add the VEVO views to the YT views. The VEVO version is only available in US, Canada, UK and Ireland. So they posted it on YT too. The VEVO count is at 414K but hasn't been updated for hours -- and should make a big jump at the next update. ETA: VH1 BTIKM does not look like it is HD . The VEVO version is the best I've seen -- even looks good on a large HD screen. BUT Adam looks great in all of them. This may have already been posted, but I think the Vevo and youtube views share the same counter, it's just off in the early stages of a vid being posted. You can see by looking at older vids by many artists, the numbers of views are the same on both Vevo and youtube. So I don't think you can add the Vevo and youtube vid counts together. Just go with whatever is the highest number you see in this wonky early stage and consider that the total. ETA: I was also doing some reading around about youtube/vevo vid counts, and it helps if you jump to the video page different ways, like with different search terms in youtube or on google, or from different sites. Whenever a new article is posted with the video embedded, I always play the whole video through on their site, because I think it gives hits both to the blog article featuring Adam, and adds to the total view count on youtube/Vevo. |

The article uses "irritating" to describe Dark Adam. Someone needs better descriptive skills. Spilling your coffee is irritating, Dark Adam is dramatic, frightening, maniacal, controlling, and so much more. I purposely left gorgeous and compelling off the list of adjectives, by the way. And "beige dressing-gowned" for that warm, soft, textured, cuddly, squishable, cozy sweater/cardigan? His description sounds like he's in an nondescript clinical hospital gown. :  |

Anyway - I was at my favorite not-Starbucks this afternoon watching the video on my laptop - for the umpteenth time and a 20-something stopped behind me and said "He is soooo hot and I love the video. Can I watch the rest?" At the end of the second (!!) time thru she said even her boyfriend was coming 'round, and left. Love to share.

They are just being snarky British hipsters, which makes their praise 'so raw, so brave' worth more in my eyes than gushing words from others already firmly in the fan camp. One thing I've noticed from a lot of the blog postings on Adam and Adam/Queen rumors is that humor and sarcasm on the part of the bloggers or commentors often doesn't translate cross-culturally to all readers. I'll be giggling away at the comments on some site and run into a glambert getting upset because they are taking the commenters seriously when they say 'Queen would never have a gay lead singer' or something that is clearly meant to be tongue in cheek. |
