I have to dig through the interviews for the AU and NZ comment -- but it was a general, typically vague comment form Adam -- just that he would go there. There are several things that are certain no matter what else happens -- and on my list: -- Adam will have a Trespassing tour. (Not confirmed but they can sell tickets and make money, he will tour.) -- Adam will sing with QUEEN again. (not confirmed but a win-win for all to do a couple event shows)-- Adam will visit Asia-Pacific and will go to NZ and AU to support the Trespassing album. (he said he will go but no time mentioned, I believe it will be this album cycle) -- The band members will change but Adam will never work with Monte again. (This is my conclusion. But based on Adam's recent tweet, sounded permanent.) Now we can wait for confirmation, dates, etc. but I have no doubt about the above. Q3 I recall you were not very partial to the idea of Adam doing anything with Queen right after the EMAs. What's caused the change of heart? No change of heart -- I do not want and did not want Adam + QUEEN to be the focus of Adam's career. I want the focus to be on his new music. So, I do not think that a tour with QUEEN would be good for him. But another performance or two would be great. Two very different things. I love the press he is getting from the rumor because most of it includes a link to his video and a promo for his new album. I love watching him with QUEEN. I just want Adam Lambert singer-songwriter-musician-artist does a once (OK maybe 3 times) in a lifetime concert with QUEEN -- NOT Adam Lambert brings his own style to QUEEN music. So now and then for promo and/or so Adam can make some money = cool. Adam becomes famous as ne w"Freddy" doing music I love but that is from 40 years ago and earns him no royalties = not cool. Last thing -- Adam does a TV program with QUEEN and mega production numbers and a live recording after his Trespassing Tour = take my money now. |

I am not expecting US radio to embrace anything overtly sexual from any gay singer (well unless it's some hot chick) let alone Adam. It's so stupid. |
